The best restaurant in Park City. First - the food. As well traveled Americans, we find it hard to eat out in the states. You never know what quality you’re getting, how fresh ingredients are, what oils are being used. Every time we leave the Alpinist, we are FULL and content…never bloated, in pain. Much of their alcohol and food is sourced from overseas, ensuring the best quality and authenticity. The staff feels like family and ensures our needs are taken care of. And the food is just delicious, all year round. Best fondue in town. Love the schnitzel and all the seafood. Really haven’t had anything that misses here. We are so thankful to have the Alpinist down the street and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Park City.

★★★★★ What an exceptional dining experience at The Alpinist. From the moment we arrived, every detail reflected thoughtful hospitality, outstanding service, and a genuine passion for creating something special. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between refined mountain elegance and warm Deer Valley charm. The food was simply outstanding. Each course was beautifully presented, expertly prepared, and full of flavor. It is clear that tremendous care has gone into every aspect of the menu. A special thank you to James and Andre Dumas for their vision, dedication, and commitment to excellence. It was a pleasure meeting them and seeing firsthand the pride they take in creating such a remarkable dining experience. The Alpinist is a fantastic addition to Deer Valley and has quickly earned a place among the area’s premier dining destinations. I look forward to returning often. Highly recommended. Paula

Move over Hirsch, there’s a new fondue in town. The Alpinist is a welcome addition to Silverlake dining, and if you want a legit fondue, this the place. Superbly melted cheese with nice hint of wine and kirsch; expertly prepared par cooked vegetables, bread and apples for dipping; this is marked contrast to a deeply disappointing visit to Hirsch in January, where a grainy (perhaps too much cornstarch) flavorless pasty cheese Offering was coupled with pickled vegetables, stale bread and no apple. 🤮 The salad was right off a table in Zurich: shaved beets, carrots, butter lettuce and the unique French dressing served there. Wagyu Bavette couple with chicken schnitzel and a healthy helping of frites provided more than enough main. Also, Meal started with an excellent asparagus and mushroom soup. Dessert was yummy but a set item. OK wine list, and a nice assortment of aperitif and eaux de vies to start and finish. Swift, helpful service. Thanks to Chef James for this inspired new venue.

An intimate and exclusive dining experience within the Deer Valley Club. The menu was exciting and fresh, every detail being exquisitely presented. The lovely dining room featured a fireplace, chairs covered in luxurious fur liners and a cozy yet contemporary feel. A special table in the kitchen offers an exclusive peek at a kitchen in operation. Wonderful experience, attentive staff and beautiful food.
