On 4/27 I had a full hip replacement and Applegate home care was selected by my surgeon to provide home health care and physical therapy services. Anya, my physical therapist was particularly helpful. She listened to my concerns and understood the areas I was experiencing discomfort and difficulties and recommended specific items that were extremely helpful. I had a fall 8 days after my surgery which my surgeon anticipated set me back about 4 weeks to recover from. With Anya’s recommended exercises and the loan of a different walker I progressed enough to be discharged from home PT and move on to out patient PT in 2 weeks. I couldn’t have done it without her! I am very pleased with Applegate and their services and highly recommend them.
The team I worked with from Applegate was great. Mackenzie and the other nurses who checked on me were great listeners and made sure I was on track. My biggest thanks go to Ania, my PT, who was essential in helping me start to gain range of motion and strength. She pushed me to make progress while always being supportive and celebrating the milestones I achieved! Thank you Ania!
My family and I will be forever grateful for the incredible care and kindness the Applegate team provided my mother during her time in both home health and hospice. McKenzee was our primary nurse throughout both services, and Hanna was our LPN. Together they were compassionate, attentive, and consistently supportive. We also had several visits from Sophia, whose conversations with my mom and our family during her final days were calm and reassuring. The entire team was always available by text whenever we had questions or needed additional supplies, which gave us such peace of mind. One thing I especially appreciated was that they always spoke directly to my mom, even as she became more withdrawn. That respect and dignity meant so much to us.
My thanks to the entire Applegate Home Health Care team for their comprehensive personal and professional care during my surgical recovery. From the initial interview and intake appointment, the visit from the Occupational Therapist to review my living environment, the weekly visits by the nursing staff to record and track vital signs, the weekly visits for Physical Therapy, to the work for extending my care, I definitely give them a five star rating! I am particularly grateful for the work of Ania (Physical Therapist) for her rehab guidance and expertise. Thanks to everyone, I am on the road to recovery and resuming an active senior lifestyle!
Applegate Hospice assisted my family for the last year of my father's life, and we had an excellent experience. The nurses were wonderful and made their visits fun and upbeat. They were also patient and always readily available to answer questions. We appreciate them helping us care for him in the comfort of his home. This is a great team of caring professionals, including the harpist who made regular visits! All our thanks to Kaitlyn, McKenzie, Hannah, Jacque, Heidi, and Chad we are forever grateful.
