There aren't words to describe the ribeye other than top notch. The stroganoff was delicious too. This place is worth every cent. The staff were great!
Saying goodbye to what i thought would be my forever home one small restaurant at a time. Leaving a place with such food culture and some of the greatest views is very hard. I love back40s pastrami burger. And its one of the greatest burgers of all time. I saved the mac for tomorrow. Because it is also one of the greatest macs. Of course the flourless chocolate torte is fire. Love this place. Will miss it as it was a weekly hit for a while. Utah is a great place. If you are ever in this area do not hesitate to go. Always ask for specials as they have nightly ones. And everything i have ever tried here has been amazing. From the drinks to the cocktails. Great kids menu. And reasonably priced.
This place is amazing! I was visiting the area and looking for a nice place to take my wife for Mother's Day. We found this looking on google for places to eat in the area. It was busy but the staff didn't act all rushed like some places do. We sat down and ordered our food, we both got the "Back 40 Burger" for $22 each, which was a burger with local organic grass-fed beef, tomato, lettuce, caramelized onions, pastrami, special sauce, Heber valley creamery jalapeno bacon cheddar cheese, and a choice of parmesan parsley fries or sweet potato fries or salad. I got the parmesan parsley fries and my wife got the salad. Let me just say, the burger was out of this world. Bring an appetite!
Loved it! Gorgeous location. Fantastic outdoor seating. The weather was perfect. The food was fabulous! OMG so yummy!! The food was delivered quickly. Devin the server was friendly and on top of things. A really beautiful meal and evening.
Back 40 Ranch House Grill is an absolute gem and the perfect spot for a post-hike lunch. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was awesome—bright, welcoming, and relaxed without feeling too casual. Our waiter was fantastic and really added to the experience with great service throughout. The food was also priced extremely well for the quality, which honestly made it even better. We’d definitely be regulars if we lived here. I had the kickin chicken sandwich, and it delivered. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of heat. The toppings balanced it out perfectly, and the bun held everything together without getting soggy. The fries on the side were golden, crispy, and seasoned just right—hard to stop eating them. We also got the beet salad, which was super fresh and really well put together. It had a great mix of textures—tender beets, crisp greens, and crunchy elements—tied together with a light, flavorful dressing. The scoop of cheese on top added a creamy richness that brought the whole dish together. Overall, awesome experience all around. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We’d absolutely come back.
