New hotel in a great location. Room design and decorating are beautiful. Showers were very nice. Food at restaurant was surprisingly good. Pool area and sauna were a nice plus but need some updates. Observations and recommendations: No robes provided for use in room or pool area. Sauna was not hot enough and wet sauna smelled (will have to add Eucalyptus scent similar to other wet saunas). No water hose in wet sauna to spray down surfaces or body so nasty sweat remains on sitting surfaces. No shower area in pool area, have to walk into separate bathrooms to wash off which is a poor design. Gym area smelled and had poor ventilation (too hot). Shower water pressure was a bit low. Beds were comfortable at first but too soft for me and slept hot. A/C in room only would go down to 68F, we slept with thin sheets on and window open and were still warm. Toilet paper was terrible, some of the thinnest and cheapest I have ever seen. Bright flashing strobe sensor light over bed area and auto turn on bathroom lights at night need to be fixed. Cleaning staff could not speak any English which is a bit concerning. Request a top floor otherwise you will hear foot stomping above you as ceiling sound proofing is terrible since they chose to go cheap during construction. 🤯
Very nice rooms and location is about perfect, very quiet, the room was clean and spacious, the towels were a jumbo size the bedding was very soft a plush, the staff was excellent, Hanna at the front desk met us outside and walked us in, parking is a little tight for a large rig but still manageable, my pup enjoyed the dog bones, definitely will be returning.
Incredible views, easy access, great service at a brand new property! Thanks Lindsey at the front desk for making my wife's birthday memorable. We will be back again!
Stayed here with my 2 sons for a weekend of riding bikes at deer valley resort. We ended up loving this hotel and it's restaurant. The rooms and facilities were amazing and beautiful. After a long hard day of riding the mountain,we loved the pool facilities with the sauna, steam room, and cold plunge to be such a great way to recover! Plus the restaurant is nothing short of amazing. My sons could eat their pizza everyday. One thing that also really stood out was the staff. The service started before I could even get out of my car as a member of the team greeted me the second we pulled up. Every where we turned we were greeted with a smile. It was really a great experience. We'll definitely be back for future biking weekends!
Met some friends for drinks and dinner at Fornetto, we ordered just about everything on the menu, and honestly, it was all amazing. A few standouts for me were the polenta fries, pepperoni pizza, and the panna cotta, which was easily the best I’ve ever had. And the views? Absolutely breathtaking from just about everywhere in the restaurant. Great food, incredible setting, and a perfect night. Can’t wait to go back!
