We had an amazing stay at Chateau Apres in Park City. The old-school charm and warm, welcoming atmosphere made it a perfect home base for our trip. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. From great local recommendations to seamless check-in, their hospitality truly stood out. The lodge itself had a cozy, classic ski-lodge feel, which we loved. After a long day on the slopes, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We would love to go back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly and authentic ski experience in Park City!

We stayed here for 4 nights in February. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Pros: - Great location with an easy 5 min walk to the lifts and about 10 min to shopping/dining on Main Street. - Breakfast provided, basic but good enough to get going, and with reasonable hours — 7:30-9:30. - Clean, comfortable (but basic) room. - Very cost effective, especially for the central location. Room for improvement: - The towels are so thin and small. This seems like a really easy upgrade. - Would be nice to have some yogurt at breakfast. - Would be nice to have a mini fridge in the room (though communal fridge was definitely fine/clean). Overall, I’d stay here again for a basic ski trip to Park City.

A massive shout out to Jason and Ed, the father and son running the Chateau. Both of you were incredibly kind, patient and hard working. Your presence really heightens the experience at the Chateau, thank you. We stayed at the Chateau for 3 nights while visiting Park City and skiing on the mountain. The Chateau is incredibly clean and has loads of character. There is a wonderful little cafeteria with tables and a communal fridge and microwave for the guests to use at their convenience. This is a perfect example of you getting what you paid for. Ed spent some time with us as we made our lunches in the cafeteria one afternoon and expressed how it was a focus of theirs to try and keep the ski experience affordable while visiting the beautiful little city of Park City. The location is absolutely knockout! A ten minute walk to the Park City Mountain Gondola, and an equal ten minute walk to the heart of the downtown area. If you have littles, there is a really fun sledding area right across the street from the Chateau as well. I really can’t say enough positive things about our stay here. 10/10 will revisit and hope to see Ed and Jason here when we return.

I Have Not Stayed Here. I am a neighbor a few doors down. I love this building. It’s old world ski lodge to perfection. Just a short flight of stairs to the ski lifts - easy to do in ski boots. When you visit park city be mountainkind. Recycle, put food waste in the compost bins, the “Real” locals are welcoming, friendly and happy give directions or suggestions, the buses are free clean and take you right where you want to go. I love this place and I hope the Chateau Apres is around for a long time.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The staff was wonderful and very kind, the continental breakfast is simple but anyone should be able to find something, and you cannot beat the location and price. Getting to the lifts is an easy walk even with your gear, and between the resort dining within a 1-2 minute walk and being a 5-10 minute walk to main street you really can't complain. This is a great find to any budget friendly traveler who wants to be right in the mix, with that being said it is budget friendly so small sacrifices are needed. You will absolutely have everything you NEED here but given such an amazing location at this fantastic of a price point it should be common sense that the finer luxuries of a resort hotel stay are not available here.
