Beautiful area of salt lake. I walked around the block and admired the beautiful gardens.
Good news source. They were chosen by Google as the authority on the Omicron variant when it first emerged. As with most other news organizations, they have shifted away from printing paper newspapers. Most of what they have to offer is now online.
Deseret News has a very left wing idiology infiltrated throughout their political articles I’ve read. I’m not sure who produces this liberal Trump bashing media, but it is in direct opposition from leaders of the church. What you read from general conference is directly opposing to articles published by Deseret News. I literally get sick when I read Deseret News’ articles! It would sure be nice to find some media that had some backbone to their content!
Have been a customer of Deseret News for 10+ years. We've seen a HUGE decline in service and quality. This past year have received only half of my papers on time. Was told to call when they are not delivered, and did this for a time. Finally became tired of making this frequent call, where there again is a 50% chance of not receiving it the next day. They promised credit for papers not received but this was never done (over all these years)! Got fed up and called to cancel the paper (via phone) and then received continued delivery for 3 more months after cancellation. I called to cancel again and fight to stop service. Was billed for the 3 more month after going in circles, and ultimately paid to simply make them go away. Be careful of their shady tactics. They do all business verbally for cancellation and for credits. Purposely there is no paper trail in their business to prove this (I did receive a notice after I recorded call on second call for cancellation verifying subscription was done).
Can't take that a church news company can be bought by a political party. Will condemn one candidate for something they said and not the other for things they did. Will no longer read the hypocrisy of this paper. Myself and local ward members are cancelling our subscriptions.
