I cant say enough about Echo. It is our happy place. We love camping here. Group site is huge. Lots of space. Camp hosts are always so great. Warm showers and lots of places to explore.

Echo has become our new family boating destination wecome here last couple and the worst part about it, is eventually you have to go home it’s like a super clean and very well maintained a lot of people like coming to Echo, but it’s never so busy it’s not enjoyable. Thanks for all you guys to do. You’re the best.

We have brought our pup here since she was 6 months old. We love to drive up to Coalville and spend the day here in the summer!

It’s a nice place in the mountains to go boating or fishing. There are some tiny cabins you can rent, there is a day use area. It’s a beautiful area!

1500 Echo Dam Rd, Coalville, UT 84017 We used this address to get to a nice sandy beach area. I mistakenly Googled echo state beach park and it took me way past the Coalville area I wanted! Just fyi, take exit 162 to get here. Parking gets full pretty quickly on a Sunday morning...we arrived around 1130 and we were the last car to fit in the parking area. There was a bit of a long walk to get to the pretty sandy beach but we didnt mind...we brought a wagon and 2 men had to carry it during the sleep down slopes. No boats allowed so it's nice and quiet with just paddle boarders and people canoeing. There were lots of cottonwood trees that provided shade for us! No restrooms or running water were in the area we were at, so you have to hide behind trees and do your thang. Broken glass was scattered all over the beach so that was hard to deal with as our kids walked barefoot everywhere. We picked up and threw tons of it away but make sure to wear water shoes or sandals for protection. We loved this lake and will be back for sure.
