I walked in at the end of March with my dad and 6 year old daughter (who has expressed a lot of interest in being an artist one day). Samuel welcomed us in and let us know if we had any questions, to ask. My daughter was quick to point out all the rabbits (Hunt Slonem) and the "dots" on the triptychs (Nina Tichava). Samuel came around and let my daughter pull out the art "drawers" and talked about the artists and the importance of each of their work. She also received a journal with a gold rabbit on the cover that has quickly become her diary/sketch book. We had such a positive experience in this gallery thanks to Samuel and I can't thank them enough for taking the time to answer all of my daughter's questions and educate her. Thank you for an impactful experience!

Gallery MAR is the "cool, modern anchor" of Main Street. Unlike stuffier galleries, it feels bright and high-energy, specializing in contemporary mountain art. Expect vibrant colors, thick textures, and a very welcoming, unpretentious staff. • Best For: Bold, modern takes on landscapes (like aspens and peaks). • Don't Miss: The current "Eternal Meditations" exhibition (featuring Havoc Hendricks) or the upcoming Sarah Winkler show opening February 13th. • The Vibe: Sophisticated but friendly—perfect for both serious collectors and casual browsers.

Wonderful gallery, with so many interesting paintings and art works that outsand from the other galleries in Park City. Elegant decoration and well presented art works. The service really nice, inclusive and attentive.

My first time in Park City, and Gallery Mar was my first art gallery. Visiting galleries is one of my fave things to do in new cities, and Gallery Mar did not disappoint. First—I was greeted the moment I stepped foot in the door by the owner, Mar, who was lovely. Second—she has curated an amazing collection of works by some very talented artists—including one of my personal favorites Jylian Gustlin. I could have spent the entire afternoon wandering the gallery, admiring the pieces, and talking with Mar who was very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend making Gallery MAR a priority on your visit to Park City.

Every year I visit family in Park City. I love galleries, but my favorite remains Gallery MAR. This is a eclectic and gorgeous gallery with a variety of local and other talented artists and regular shows as well. Recently, they added another in Carmel. I am so fond of this gallery and there is little there I wouldn't want in my home. This is a women-owned gallery and all of the people here are warm, friendly and love to show you around. I hope you have an opportunity to visit and enjoy this exceptional place to view contemporary art.
