Self-guided tubing here is absolutely worth it! The route is a perfect mix of calm stretches and exciting rapids, making it a fun adventure for just about any age (we had 12 - 44). It took our group about 2½ hours, including a quick lunch break. We packed a small cooler (and cooler tube) and stopped on a rock bar to eat, which made for a great mid-float break. There were no ropes or tethers, so we simply held onto each other’s tube handles to stay together. The water is definitely cold at first, but after a few minutes, you hardly notice it. Between the beautiful scenery and the fun ride, this ended up being one of our favorite activities. We’d absolutely do it again!

Fun, easy way to enjoy the Provo River. Easy to show up, rent a tube or kayak , hop on the old school bus and head up the canyon but time slots can fill up on busy hot days. But it’s very easy to book ahead. There is plenty of helpful staff! Reasonable prices and a turnkey floating experience. This was my second time using using HCA- first was tubing which was a blast, and this time we did 2 person inflatable kayaks. Nice equipment and the kayak was very fun to paddle, it just float. Usually my group of friends take 2 cars and our own tubes but this is a very fun and easy way to show up and just experience the river. Bus ride up the canyon is fun and nostalgic- like a grown ups summer camp or field trip. Can’t wait to go again!

Great raft experience. We rented a raft to do self guided. Class 1 and 2. Casual river float. Beautiful scenery. Great for families.

While they can’t change the temp of the water we experienced, the trip down the water was Amazing. Doubles-tubes or single tubes available. Some of the water levels are deeper than 3ft deep, from what we were told, but use a paddle (or grab a big-arse giant stick like I did) and use it to push yourself or redirect your tube as needed. Very recommended experience !

Tubing the Provo River with High Country Adventure is the absolute BEST summer experience you can do! The equipment was top-notch, the tubes were sturdy and comfortable, but what really stood out, was the fantastic service. The team was so cheerful and knowledgeable, fueling the excitement of us adventurers even more than we already were. They made sure everyone felt prepared and excited for the trip. Honestly, I can't praise them enough, literally from the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and organized. They made the check-in process a breeze and gave us all the tips we needed to have a safe and fun float. The river itself is gorgeous and the perfect speed for a relaxing day on the water. They truly made the whole experience that much more fantastic. We enjoyed ourselves so much we went two weekends in a row! So if you're looking for a new activity to try or just want to get out and enjoy the last of what 2015 has of Summer, I highly recommend tubing the Provo River with High Country Adventure! This company makes it so easy to enjoy the stunning river, it's great value for our money too! 10000/10 - (p.s. I really wanted one of their cool shirts with the logo on as a memento)
