Hong and Mark helped me buy my first home, and I left the process absolutely in awe of how much they contributed at every possible step. I’ll never buy another property in UT without them!! Starting off my real estate journey, I was surprised to see how much money realtors make to facilitate a purchase. By the end of the process my view had completely flipped – Hong and Mark truly EARNED IT, and THEN SOME! They truly went the extra mile for us... over and over again. Strategy: Hong and Mark are experts in the Park City / Salt Lake area, and had great answers to my endless questions about appreciation / resale / renting. Touring: Hong and Mark pre-toured countless homes for me before we toured them together. This was great, because it saved me so much time – I was living out of state and flying in to tour homes on a tight schedule. They pre-filtered out a lot of homes that didn’t match my preferences.. Negotiation: Researchers should study Hong’s negotiation tactics. She got so much more for me than I thought would be possible. Closing: My loan process was very complicated (bureaucratic issues), but Hong kept the sellers informed and calm, worked with the HOA to get the documents we needed, and kept my lender on track. With any other realtor, the contract could have fallen through. Moving in: Hong and Mark helped me move in! (How many realtors do that??) They even offered to help me fix things around the house Integrity: Hong and Mark can be fully trusted as agents to act on your behalf. By the end of the process, my family and I had a new slogan we were jokingly saying all the time; “Trust in Hong”. Overall: I can’t recommend this dynamic duo enough. I will recommend them to everyone.
Hong is a wonderful landlord. She is extremely responsive. She and Mark address any issues quickly, coming by themselves to take care of repairs, even on weekends when needed. I have always found them to be trustworthy, professional, and genuinely committed to making sure tenants are well taken care of. What I appreciate most is how reliable and responsive they are. Whenever a problem comes up, I know it will be handled promptly and with care. Hong consistently goes the extra mile, and her friendly, approachable personality makes communication easy and pleasant. I would definitely recommend Hong and Mark to friends and family.
Working with Hong McDonald was such a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Right from our first conversation, she came across as caring, honest, and incredibly trustworthy. I felt completely comfortable with her immediately. Hong always went above and beyond. Hong’s support didn’t end when the sale closed. She continued to help me with questions, recommendations, and anything else I needed. It’s been over a year since my sale closed, Hong is still offering help! I am not a local resident of Park city. This kind of commitment is extremely helpful to out of state buyers, like myself. I love the property that Hong helped me select. Hong has so much experience in her field, and it really showed. I’ve purchased seven homes in my life and Hong provided the best experience I have ever had with an agent. She was very knowledgeable of the market, listened to my needs and helped me find a property that suited me perfectly. She assisted me in purchasing a vacation home in a community far from my primary residence, which comes with a number of challenges. She went above and beyond and handled tasks from the complex to the mundane and made the process much less stressful.
