I tried to contact my doctor's clinic team, and when I got through to the office, a recording said that the staff is no longer taking phone calls and that I would need to message them through the MyChart app, accessible via mobile or desktop. And if I had any issues with the app, I could call a 1-800 support line. I sent a message through the app that said it would be 2 - 3 days before someone responds. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Is this what our "human" healthcare industry has become? A bunch of AI bots? IHC's Vision is: "Be a model health system by providing extraordinary care and superior service at an affordable cost." Well. I believe they've failed on both accounts. I feel bad for the medical staff working within IHC and am not surprised we have a medical staffing shortage in the US... because fewer young people want to be part of what is clearly a BROKEN system.

I had surgery here and it was the best hospital experience I have had. They kept me informed of delays from patients arriving late due to a fire on Parleys. They all worked well to care for me. The anesthesiologist was the best I’ve ever had. Top notch care, Thank you!

I had a very concerning experience with Dr. Dania Lees during an ER visit and feel compelled to share it. I came to the ER with a deep laceration on my knee from a ski accident. During treatment, several things made me question the quality of care I received. While suturing my wound, Dr. Lees asked the person who was with me, who is not medical staff, to assist instead of bringing in a trained hospital staff member. She also repeatedly broke sutures while attempting to close the wound. At one point, she left a pair of suture scissors in my bed, which were later discovered by an X-ray technician. At the time, I trusted that she knew what she was doing and did not question her decisions. Looking back, I regret that. After leaving the hospital, I shared photos of the stitches with family members, who immediately noted how poorly the wound had been closed. At the time, I was only concerned about proper healing and regaining full function of my knee, not the cosmetic appearance, which is why I did not seek a second opinion right away. I was not prescribed antibiotics upon discharge. I continued to experience pain, was unable to bend my knee, and could not walk without assistance. Despite this, I followed the timeline I was given before seeking follow-up care. When my primary care doctor removed the stitches, the wound had not healed and was still deep and open. Both my doctor and nurse were alarmed by the lack of antibiotics and the quality of the suturing. I was referred to a dermatologist, who had to redo the repair using absorbable stitches beneath the skin as well as a new set of surface stitches. The initial repair did not include these deeper stitches. As a result of this experience, I have been in pain for about two months and have had limited mobility. I strongly believe my recovery has been significantly prolonged due to the initial treatment I received. After going through all of this, I later shared the full experience with friends and family members, including several who are doctors or closely connected to the medical field. Their reactions to the overall situation were consistent and concerning, and their feedback is what ultimately compelled me to write this review. This was an extremely disappointing and alarming experience in what should have been a standard ER procedure.

I just had my first mammogram and Kellie was absolutely excellent. She talked me through everything to ensure I understood the process and was comfortable. After she spoke to the radiologist, she came back in and VERY throughly explained to me the great findings. It was my first mammogram and I was a bit nervous but she made me feel so comfortable. I’ve been so impressed with Intermountain in each capacity which I have visited them and I feel grateful to have such an amazing team in Park City.
