Our cats LOVE when Stephanie is staying with them. She genuinely cares about them, gives us loads of updates and pictures, and them come running to greet her when she comes. They seem settled when we come home too, and that helps with the transitions. Cannot recommend her enough. She great with the cats and a sweetheart in general.
I found Stephanie through her Pinebrook Petsitting website. My cat Batman and I feel so incredibly fortunate to have Stephanie step in when needed. She absolutely goes way above and beyond what she is payed for. She obviously cares a great deal about my cat, and sends me photos and videos while she is in my home. I trust her so much, that I let her hang onto my key for future pet sitting. I simply cannot say enough positive things about Stephanie. Stephanie was professional and caring in every way, even managed to gain the trust of our ultra timid kitty and lure him out of hiding within a few days :-) She was thorough, responsive and sent regular pics/videos daily which was so appreciated, never having left ‘the boys’ with a petsitter for so long. I can highly recommend Stephanie, your babies will be in great hands. Her colleague Julie was lovely too.
Stephanie is the best cat-sitter we've ever had. We have a difficult cat (a 12-year-old who is highly attached to us, and became anxious and unfriendly to strangers after her sister passed away a few years ago), and most sitters understandably dislike spending time with her even if they try their best to connect. Stephanie never gave up, and eventually bonded with our cat in a way that made us feel so much more comfortable when we were away from home. She would sit and talk to her even when our cat would hiss or swat. It sounds silly, but Stephanie saw the best in her! And it paid off – they have really formed a special connection. Beyond that, Stephanie is incredibly responsible and communicative. She always sends photos and videos from her visits, which make us smile and allow us to relax knowing that our cat is being cared for.
Stephanie has been an outstanding cat sitter for my two cats during the past year for periods of time ranging from 2-10 days. It is apparent that she likes animals and the cats are calm and relaxed when I return. She is reliable and has thoughtfully texted photos of the cats while I am away. Stephanie goes above and beyond what she needs to do and, for example, has brought in mail and packages, etc. Knowing that Stephanie is caring for my two cats while traveling is very reassuring to me and I am sure they are well taken care of while I am away. She is a great animal sitter!
