We LOVE sending our girl to camp at Rocky Mounrain K9! It’s worth the drive from the salt lake valley- there is so much space for the doggies to roam, and they take really good care of our dog who doesn’t love every doggie she meets. They spend time pairing her with good playmates and socialize her safely. Whenever we drop her off, she runs right in and doesn’t even look back to say bye- we have taken her to other places prior to moving to Utah where she was hesitant to go in, but not here. Thank you all to the staff for making us feel at ease when we can’t take her with us!
Picked up my 12 year old dog from a 4 night stay. She was handed to me covered in old pee from her croup/ lower back all the way to her mid chest. I spoke to the kennel worker, manager, and owner. The manager was only on that day and said it was probably just from being let out in the yard, the owner took responsibility after reviewing cameras and said the kennel worker there that weekend has been fired, and offered me a free bath her next stay. This will be our first and last. She is a white dog, everything shows on her and it was pure negligence by the worker. Never out of my five years of working in kennels as a kennel tech, shift lead, and manager have I allowed a dog to stay or be handed to the owner in that condition. On top of that, during drop off no one knew what was going on. When I called and booked i made it very clear that she is DOG AGGRESSIVE. Whomever I handed her to (who was on the computer checking her in) had absolutely no clue about that and thought she was there for daycare. Again, this is not something that has ever happened in my previous experience. All kennel staff and management was aware of new and old clients coming in that day especially ones that had behavioral issues. Lastly, during drop off I sent her with a can of pumpkin explaining she had been constipated recently. During my drive home i found the pumpkin to not have been opened. I do not feel like this has been resolved properly. I paid $210 for my dog to be cared for. She was clearly not cared for in an acceptable manner. I gave 2 stars for the owner being responsive and quick to *attempt* to amend the negligence.
We have been boarding our sweet pups here for several years. They go running inside we when arrive, so that says it all - they love it! And we love having a membership that includes unlimited free baths! We can go on adventures and then drop them off to get cleaned up after all the fun!
Rocky Mountain K9 dog training is absolutely the best!! They gave us peace in our home (see before / after pics). David’s years of experience and professional approach put us at ease immediately. Tiffany was our main trainer (2 week intensive). She literally worked miracles with both dogs. The daily photos and videos were great - helping us see the transformation that was occurring. Emily and Tiffany have been working with us now in our home - helping us understand the dogs’ behaviors and ours too 😀 Their expertise and personal approaches have helped us as a family continue the training, as well as strengthening our relationships with our dogs. Their passion for training is at the core of what they do. Communication with all of them has been fantastic and timely. Can’t recommend this organization enough - truly thankful for them all!
Wow what an amazing daycare. Our demon loves playing & has a lot of energy. Most daycares can’t keep up with him but the staff here loved him & kept him very busy. We have a collar that tracks activity & he had a ton of it. The staff members were all so nice & accommodating & even sent me photos of his day. He was tired for 2 days which is a blessing for us. I wish we could go here every day!
