I got the tempura and vegetable dinner. Took over 30 minutes on a to go. At first she gave me the appetizer and I pointed out that I ordered the dinner and it appears they took some of what was in the appetizer and just dumped it in with a few other things to call it a dinner. Somehow it manages to be both greasy and dry at the same time. Usually you try to hurry on it to go on tempura because you will get steam there's zero steam. This is like it's been sitting under a heat lamp a long time or nuked in a microwave. The carrot is totally dry. You can actually hear an audible. Click click when you tap it and not in a good way. The food was luke warm at best. Super disappointed. If I got this at a fair or cafeteria I'd say it is fine. But not from a real restaurant.

Shoyu Sushi is my favorite sushi spot in Park City! My boyfriend and I come here often, and every visit is truly amazing!!The sushi is always fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. My favorite is the Pasadena!! Chef Hokky is truly talented and always makes us feel welcome! Also incredible service and hospitality from the whole staff.

Ordered takeout a few minutes ago, waited 25 minutes before heading up, entered the restaurant which has a noticeably odor of ammonia, either from rotten fish, or cat/rat urine hit me. As the only person. Female waitress assuming the owner maybe doesn’t speak English, probably does, looked surprised didn’t say a word went behind the counter saw my order and the male chef - probably co owner answered and said I’ll have it ready in a few minutes. In the car business I order ahead so I’m not gone for long and being the only order once I arrived at 12:35 figured it would be done. In all fairness he made the food pretty quick but quickly figured out how. The Friday roll was spoiled. Hamachi had turned Greyish and reeked of fish, scallops smelled noticeably off and turning yellowish and one bite of the crab topping had an instant sour spoiled taste likely from spoiled mayonaise. Spit it out and binned it. The “Steak Teriyaki” bento box pictured , You can tell me if that’s teriyaki. Taste like a Philly cheesesteak and uses the same shaved steak as one. It also had a bit of an off flavor like the steak was maybe just too near to rotting fish. Binned the whole meal, Didn’t have time to go back to the place because I’m on the clock, I’m out $35 and genuinely upset. You can’t serve rotting fish at a sushi place you could get somebody killed!

me and my boyfriend went there at night and loved it. there wasnt many people only like 2 other small groups. there was soft jazz playing and low light, so not overstimulating. and the food was amazing! we got the IDK and PC CRUNCH with Udon tempura.

Decided to try this place since we were in the area. The sushis are definitely the best we’ve ever had. You can tell they use top quality ingredients. Service is great, too. Will definitely come back! Excuse our son’s fingers in the photo. He could not wait to eat the sushi 😆.
