Sponsor

The Local Holiday Shopping Spree (the "Contest") is presented by TownLift and Best of Park City, 1090 Center Dr, Park City, UT 84098 (the "Sponsor"). Prizes are donated by participating local businesses.

Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate households are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

Entry period

The Contest runs during the dates shown on the contest page, in Mountain Time. Entries received outside that period do not count.

How to enter

Sign in on the contest page with your email address, confirm you are 18 or older, and accept these rules. That gives you your base entry. You can earn more by:

• Signing up for Best of Park City emails.
• Signing up for the TownLift newsletter.
• Following TownLift and Best of Park City on social media (one entry per account followed).
• Voting in TL Guide to The Best of Park City on bestofparkcity.com (one entry per question, up to the limit shown on the contest page).
• Creating a personalized trip guide on bestofparkcity.com (up to the limit shown on the contest page).

The number of entries each action earns is shown on the contest page. One entrant per person and email inbox. Entries from the same inbox under different spellings of the address count as one entrant. Automated or bulk entries are void.

Free alternative method of entry: mail a postcard with your name, email address and phone number to the Sponsor at the address above, received before the entry period ends, for one base entry.

Prizes

Three prize packages: On the Town, Friends & Family, and Well & Fit. Each package is a collection of gift certificates and experiences donated by local businesses, listed with their approximate retail value on the contest page. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash, and are subject to each business's terms.

Winner selection

After the entry period closes, three winners are drawn at random from all eligible entries. Your chance of winning depends on the number of entries you earned and the number received. The first winner drawn chooses a package from all three, the second from the two remaining, and the third receives the last.

Notification

Winners are notified by email. A winner who does not respond within 7 days forfeits the prize, and an alternate winner is drawn. Winners may be asked to sign a declaration of eligibility.

Taxes

Winners are responsible for any taxes. A winner whose package is valued at $600 or more will be asked for the information needed to issue an IRS Form 1099.

Social media

This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Meta or any other social network.

Privacy

Entry information is used to run the Contest, as described in the Best of Park City privacy policy. If you choose the TownLift newsletter entry, your email address is shared with TownLift to subscribe you, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

General

The Sponsor may disqualify entries that appear fraudulent or break these rules, and may modify or cancel the Contest if it cannot run as planned. A list of winners is available on request to the Sponsor's address.
