Hmm🤔I don’t enjoy leaving a negative review on any business. We all are struggling to make ends meet. But in all fairness to the many families out there who may need to learn more, before they make an appointment, I have to be honest. The reason I booked an appointment with Action Air Ducts, was specifically to get my kitchen range exhaust duct cleaned. (Not the furnace air ducts, just a stove exhaust duct). This duct is basically no than 20 inches. My home is a one/story MCM home, a short ladder gets one up on the roof. The work men were very kind and friendly and they were up on the roof and done in a split second. Ok, maybe it was about 4 -5 minutes. Tops. It was Fast and easy. Now for the negative part. I was charged $350 — for 5 minutes total work. I about fell over —and it wasn’t the workers fault it was management pricing policy. Whew! That is expensive. I would have been happy to pay around $175-200 for 5 minutes work. BUT I feel $350 was way too much for the time spent. To the owner or the manager: The cost for 5 minutes of labor seems excessive, almost like gouging the customer.
Nathaniel from Action Air Duct was amazing! He did a thorough review and quote for our home, explained each step of the process, and then completed it with efficiency, transparency, and care. He showed clear before and after photos and went above and beyond. We highly recommend!
Getting a quote and scheduling through Tamir was easy. The technicians, Nathaniel and Brady, friendly and very professional. The work was outstanding! We had them clean the air ducts and the clothes dryer. Wow, what a difference it made. The price was very competitive. Call around, I don’t think you will find better service for the price.
I have had Tamir's team out to clean our ducts twice now, and I am very pleased with their follow through. We had a few issues on our last visit, and Tamir was instantly responsive and came out the next day to ensure everything was rectified appropriately. Very appreciative of the service and the communication from Tamir!
We had Action Air Duct clean our system after an extensive remodel left layers of dust and debris around the basement. There were other companies advertising lower rates but we decided to go with Action Air Duct because of their great online reviews and figured we would get the job done right for the higher price. Unfortunately not much care was put into "leaving the home the way you found it" as can be seen by the marks left on the wall by the machine they attached to the vent and the paint and plaster they pulled off the wall (and didn't even bother to sweep up) when removing the vents. While I hope the ducts themselves are deep cleaned, the vents on the wall were not, and we ended up cleaning them again after the crew left. The crew were very nice and courteous, but even though I had to point out areas that needed to be cleaned up behind them, I still had to perform additional cleaning after they left. Tamir was very responsive to my initial inquiry and made it easy to set up the appointment, even after hours. Next time I will likely go with one of the lower-cost options. Update to this review: I was contacted by the owner of the company who apologized for my substandard experience with his technicians, which I appreciate. He offered to pay the cost of cleanup from the mess pictured in my photos and expressed his wish that I had contacted him about the problem before leaving my review. Well... a few weeks later, the furnace that his team "serviced" stopped working. I contacted him about the issue under the terms of his "guarantee" and he offered to come out and look at it, BUT if he decided that his team was not at fault, he would charge me for another service visit. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. I did not give him the opportunity to come out and charge me more money for something I had already paid him to do.
