I recently purchased a home in the Sage Hen Community in Deer Valley East, built by Hamlet Homes, and overall, I have been very happy with the experience and the quality of my new home. One of the biggest positives was our salesperson, Jordan Person. He was amazing—not just during the sales process, but throughout the entire build. Jordan continued to answer our questions, take measurements for us, help us work through furnishing decisions, and go above and beyond to make the process easier. It was clear that he genuinely cared about helping us, even after the sale was complete. Our project manager, Jeff, was also excellent. He stayed on top of the construction and was responsive when we pointed out things that needed attention. Any flaws or issues we noticed were addressed and corrected, which gave us confidence that Hamlet Homes stood behind the quality of their work. The home itself is beautiful and feels very well built. There is one significant downside that prospective buyers should be aware of: Hamlet Homes does not allow change orders, regardless of how small or inexpensive the requested change may be. For example, I selected a gray countertop with dark wood cabinets. The only kitchen sink choices offered were an undermount stainless-steel sink or a white fireclay farmhouse sink. I don't care for undermount sinks and did not want a white sink. I discovered that the manufacturer of the white farmhouse sink also made the exact same sink in gray, at the same price. I asked if I could substitute the gray version and was told no. I even offered to purchase the gray sink myself at my own expense and allow Hamlet Homes to keep the white sink at no cost to them. They still said no. I ultimately accepted the white sink and paid to have it professionally painted gray after closing. I have experienced other similar situations as well but will not share the rest. So, my advice to anyone considering a Hamlet Homes purchase is simple: if you are comfortable choosing from the finishes and options they offer, you will likely be very happy with your home. The quality of the house is excellent, and the people we worked with, particularly Jordan and Jeff, made a very positive impression. Just understand going in that customization during the build is extremely limited. If you want something different from the standard options, you may have to wait until after closing and pay to make the changes yourself. Overall, I love my new home and would recommend Hamlet Homes. I just wish they offered a little more flexibility with change orders.

My wife and I were driving around at 6pm on a Sunday night and we noticed the lights in the model of Sage Hen were still on and there was a car there. We stopped and walked in to see what this place was. We were lucky to meet your representative Jordan Person that night. We spent over 2 hours with Jordan looking at 3 different models. We had lots of questions and Jordan had the answers to almost all of them. The ones he didn’t have the answers for, he got us the CORRECT answers by early the next am. My wife and I have purchased 9 homes on the east coast over the course of our 47 years together. The process of closing on a property in UT is quite different. Jordan explained the process and was there to help us every step of the way. Whatever we needed, a call to Jordan got us the answer we needed. From submitting an offer to closing was a two week process and it was made very easy thanks to Jordan and the rest of the professionals at Hamlet Homes. You guys are doing business the right way. Your employees are great. Keep up the great work.

If I could give Hamlet Homes more than five stars, I absolutely would! I’ve been building a home in the Worthington Ranch Subdivision since January, and I’m now nearing completion. The entire process has been incredibly smooth, thanks to the outstanding team at Hamlett Homes. Both our sales agent, Yosh, and our construction superintendent, Nate, have been exceptional to work with. They’ve been honest, transparent, and responsive every step of the way. Anytime I’ve had a concern, Yosh and Nate have gone above and beyond to find a fair and timely resolution. We visit our home every weekend, and Yosh consistently checks in to see if we have any questions or concerns—always ready to help. I consider myself to have high standards and can be quite particular, yet I’ve never once felt like a burden to anyone at Hamlett Homes. While selling our current home, we had to replace the roof. Interestingly, the roofing contractor mentioned he had worked with Hamlet Homes before and regarded them as one of the top builders in Utah. We couldn’t agree more—our new home has turned out beautifully! Hamlet Homes also allowed us to make several customizations at a very reasonable cost to re-engineer the plans. Initially, we were looking for acreage and a more custom home, and after years of searching, we discovered Hamlett Homes. Although Worthington Ranch is a planned development, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of floor plans and elevations available. With just a few minor customizations, we found a layout that met our needs—and got the acreage we wanted too. Many of Hamlet’s standard features are considered upgrades by other builders. In the end, they delivered a home that truly reflects everything we hoped for. We’re confident this will be our forever home. A huge thank you to Hamlet Homes and their entire team for continuing to prioritize exceptional customer service! -Brooke Tanner

I loved working with Hamlet Homes. I bought a new townhouse almost 2 years ago and have never had any issues with it. So many great options come standard! As I'm currently going through the process of buying another new home with a different builder, I realize what a great deal it was to buy from Hamlet Homes! Hamlet Homes was so efficient and they were very open about prices for upgrades. I wish all builders were as good as them.

I purchased an already-built home from Hamlet Homes that was everything I wanted! Even though I didn’t build with them, everyone at Hamlet was super nice and helpful. They were very concerned with my happiness and continue to follow up to see how things are going. My realtor was repeatedly impressed; she kept saying that most builders aren’t nearly as prepared and responsive and thorough as Hamlet was! So far the home is amazing and very few issues. Definitely recommend.
