Decided to treat ourselves to Cortona via DoorDash last night since we've enjoyed dining there for years. The chicken piccata had good lemon and caper flavor. However, the portion was extremely small. The price was not small. The fettucine and meatball was fine. The meatball is good. The rest was meh. The cannoli was good and an expected size. Overall, just really disappointed in the portion sizes for the price. Far better alternatives in this market so sorry to say we will not order from nor dine there again.
Best Italian food I’ve ever had. The servers were understaffed but we still felt well taken care of by Jenna (shoutout)! The service was fast, we waited maybe 10 minutes for our food. Portions were also surprisingly large. We each ate 1 entree and it was more than enough. Definitely coming back!
Our dinner at Cortona Italian Café was outstanding! Bethcy was incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely fun to talk with. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and provided exceptional service throughout our meal. The food was absolutely amazing—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Combined with the warm and inviting atmosphere, it made for a wonderful dining experience. Reservations are highly recommended, and they are open from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. We will definitely be back and look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!
Absolutely phenomenal—service, food, and atmosphere were all top-tier. This place truly checks every box. The wheat is sourced directly from Italy, and the pasta is made fresh in-house daily, which you can genuinely taste. Every dish we ordered was outstanding, and the service was just as impressive. Our server was upbeat, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. My favorite detail? The lasagna is made with 100% beef—and it was hands down the best thing on the menu. The brownie dessert was also gluten free!
Michael is truly the best chef! 👨🍳 The octopus and mussels were absolutely delicious—a must-try! 🐙🦪 Our server, Rog, was amazing too. He took such great care of us, made us laugh, and made us feel so welcome. Big shoutout to this awesome and adorable server! 🙌✨
