Not a bad place fish and relax. There are bathrooms and trails to get around. It can be difficult to get around, and the highway is very close, but a beautiful spot, very worth it.
Went to fish. Didn't catch, but the views are amazing. Wasn't crowded. A little bit of litter was present.
This place is absolutely gorgeous, but the winds kicked out butts on the lake. Totally had a great time! Oh... Then I flew over it two days later.
Loved everything about this state park. Traveling in a 45 foot motorcoach. Our site was level. We had a lakefront view. Pristine bathhouse . Nice boat launch . Quiet campground. Definitely will return.
This park is gorgeous! It’s a great spot to go on a hot day to cool off and enjoy a bit of sun. If you go early enough, you can even slide into a little pavilion or grill to cook up a meal. They have a great rental spot too where you can rent just about anything. This park also keeps people on the water to regulate safety with those paddle boarding versus jet skiing or boating. And yes, you can also fish here! So long as you are aware of people swimming. Highly recommend going 6am early on holidays such as Memorial Day, July 4th and such as it is overwhelmingly crowded those days. And dogs are allowed, just not in the water! I would highly recommend this darling lake. Be warned, the water is cold! Great for a summer day~
