Water is deep but it's natural. Fishing is easy if you bring the best materials! Over all love this campsite! Swimmable water and your able to boat and fish
Well the camp ground was okay. I stayed in a full hookup back in site. I wouldn't recommend a back in site unless you have a long sewer hose, the sewer dump on-site is all the way at the back of the paved parking pad. I couldn't back in far enough to connect to the sewer, my motorhome connection is about a 1/4 of the way from the front of my motorhome. Assess to the water is had to get to, the paths are very steep and dangerous. I am on oxygen and felt like I was going to die trying to get to the water and there was no way I could of climbed back up. I rode to the boat ramp on a wave runner and then rode back to camp in a truck back to camp. I didn't go down to the water the rest of time there. You do have to pull any water craft out every night. We did get the camp host called on us for having a fire, there were fire restrictions in place but we were abiding by them, OUR FIRE WAS A PROPANE FIRE PIT : WHICH WAS ALLOWED! My family and I will probably never go back because of the hassle it is to get to lakeside with everything we wanted to spend the day with.
Great State Park! Close to Provo for shopping, very close to Sundance and Heber city. Great Lake views from most sites. A lot of the spots are off level, but most are manageable. The host do a great job keeping everything neat and tidy. We’ve been here spring & fall, but never in summer. There appears to be 100 or more parking spots for boat trailers so I imagine the lake is quite busy during the summer months.
Not a bad place fish and relax. There are bathrooms and trails to get around. It can be difficult to get around, and the highway is very close, but a beautiful spot, very worth it.
Went to fish. Didn't catch, but the views are amazing. Wasn't crowded. A little bit of litter was present.
