I went to the Chris Botti + Utah Symphony Orchestra performance (8/1/26). I enjoyed this venue. Shout out to the ushers. They are super helpful. They lead you to your seat rather than vaguely pointing in the direction of your section. It's nice that concert-goers are allowed to bring in coolers with their own non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. Notes: (1) I recommend wearing sensible shoes. Unless you purchase VIP parking, it's an uphill hike from the parking lot to the venue. Inside the venue grounds, there are areas that have uneven grass surfaces; other areas have rock surfaces, e.g., near the concession shacks. (2) Reserved seating is low-profile beach chairs. The venue's website recommends arriving 1.5 hours prior to the performance start. I arrived about an hour before the performance start. That was plenty of time. I didn't encounter a traffic jam driving to the venue or entering the parking lot. That said, I had to park far away from the venue, so the earlier you arrive the closer your parking spot will be and you'll have less of a hike. I was glad I arrived early. I had time to get concessions (which, it goes without saying, were grossly overpriced -- approximately $14 for a small plastic cup of wine and approximately $22 for the hamburger) and settle in before the performance started. Although this was the beginning of August which is typically very hot in Utah, it turned out to be a lovely evening. I'm glad I followed the venue website's recommendation to bring a jacket in case the evening temperature dropped. I had a fleece pullover which I put on mid-performance. The weather/temperature was lovely.

very nice venue for large concerts. reserved seating gets you a chair o front. General Admi#iin gets you in the lawn. Acoustics were great. elEnjoyed the Beach Boys concert very much.

What a super venue for a concert. A little afternoon rain for us early arrivals didn't dampen our spirits, just our plastic bags and umbrella we brought for the possibility. Friendly and helpful staff were all over the place. Found out a bunch of them are volunteers, very cool. Plenty of bathroom facilities that were not just potty booths. Seating was great because of the low chair requirement. Views of the mountain tops were spectacular as well as of the performance. The Utah symphony with Cody Fry was a delight.

Beautiful scenery, beautiful music. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that the crowd control was lacking. We went when it was raining. They really do mean that they won't cancel it, rain or shine. They did have a lightning hold so wet had to stand in line instead of going into the meadow an hour before the concert. We stood in line for almost two hours, while hoards of people waited inside or under the buildings. When the gates finally opened, they let the people out of line go in front of the ones that had been waiting in the rain. There wasn't anyone around to keep order. I would highly recommend bringing an umbrella for every person in your party. For us, the forecast said only 50% chance of rain for one of the hours, but it poured the entire four hours we were there. It is the mountains after all.

Such a great outdoor venue, great sound great but; the symphony place here often. Food is good (little pricey, but it's Deer Valley so expected). Amazing portable bathrooms. Love the the lawn is divided between those w/chairs and without.
