Not cool that I have to pay and fix a problem they're aware of. I definitely would not have spent $100 if I knew it would last such a short time.

Customer service is non-existent. Why bother having a contact us option if you never answer? I sent 3 emails at different times and all were ignored. The quality of the art has diminished. I purchased one over 15 years ago and since then it seems that he doesn't even take the time to sand the wood completely. There was even a misdrilled hole that was filled in and very obvious. You can get better quality from dare I say, China at 1/2 the cost. I will be returning this item as I am embarrassed to give this as a present. Just because you profess it's American made doesn't mean anything if it's poorly constructed. Shame on you. By the way, I am taking photographs of the art work with the filled in hole. This item was defective. I should not be charged the restocking fee as you should NOT be reselling it. I will contest any funds you do not return. It's bad enough I need to pay the return shipping charges. You are not an honest seller. As far as paperwork, there was none in the box, l only have a receipt. Shoddy craftmanship.

It seemed like a great idea at the time. Famous last words, right? Here I am about 3 years later and have the same problem many other people have posted. I have not yet tried the fix but this seems like a huge hassle to maintain a piece of art. Also if the artist is aware of this problem, he should just include the stinking syringe and needle with the art so that people don't have to go through all this mess later down the road. But I can see that it's an opportunity for profit so whatever. I will update once I try to fix this. It was a gift for my mom.

EDIT: From original review. If you remove the pegs and use a syringe to inject either water or air (depending on the problem) in between the glass panes, you should fix your issue if you're finding the sand gets stuck. He said in a video to inject air. I found that mine actually needed water. Don't waste your money. It works for a few weeks, then you're stuck with a big pile of sand in the frame, that won't move, no matter how hard you try and shake it around and upside down, it's just stuck there in place. Not returnable or refundable. These are pretty pricy, so if you're on the fence about it, I wouldn't.

Dreadful customer service. I ordered a sand art and had it shipped overseas but it never arrived (not the sender's fault). I have tracking evidence from the courier that it was returned to the sender but yet despite many emails there has been a point blank refusal to send out another or give a refund. At one point the email said that I should pay them for the cost of shipping as compensation as it cost them so much (which I paid $42 for, more fool me)!! Now, they just ignore the emails so it is time to get the lawyers involved. Avoid buying from them.
