Inspired Summit Adventures is Utah's Premier Backcountry Mountain Guide Service. Guiding You Off The Grid and Into Your Adventure. We offer backcountry skiing & splitboarding, avalanche education, and yurt trips in the winter. In the Summer we build your adventure dream trips with mountain biking, climbing, hiking, camping, fishing, suping, and more. We own and operate the Catle Peak Yurt in the Western Uintas. Many of us are in awe when we see the beauty of the mountains surrounding Park City from afar. Some of us even have big dreams to explore these wild and special places. The problem is most of us don't have the experience, skills and knowledge of where to go, and how to navigate backcountry terrain safely. Resorting to overcrowded resorts and front country trails is not the answer to unlocking the magic of these mountains. We had a lovely weekend at the Smith & Morehouse yurt! Hosted by Frances and Beth, we scaled up the ridge and averted the storm, paddled in the reservoir, fished in the stream. We slept in the wonderful yurt with its gorgeous star gazing porthole!! The kitchen allowed Beth to prepare cozy meals, deliciously tailored to our desires that smelled as great as they nourished! Francis handled much of the logistics with a smile and fun story-telling, welcoming us into their fabulous inner circle. Thank you Inspired Summit!!
Shaun and her team were the best! They customized our wonderful overnight (for 7) to the Smith morehouse yurt and took care of everything accommodating the bikers, hikers our food preferences and all of the logistics. They brought paddle boards, a guitar. The meals were delicious. Staying in the yurt was a treat - it was so cozy. Next time we look forward to a led hut to hut hike.
A novice, I cannot have had a better day backcountry skiing with Joel out of bounds from the Canyons. I got patient instruction on everything I needed-- technique, managing equipment, and avalanche basics. He also an amazing photographer making even someone like me look kind of good!

Fabulous 24 hours at the ISA yurt for a large family and friends birthday party. The surroundings are magnificent and allow for all kinds of water sports, including lounging in the cold river. 5 of us spent the night in the yurt. So many details made our time comfortable and so enjoyable. I appreciated the individual puffy blankets to add on top of our sleeping bags at night. The huge flat grill and kitchen supply are fabulous and all one needs! Thank you ISA team, I hope to return!
