We rented equipment for my 46-year old son-in-law who was resuming skiing after a 40 year break, and for my 3 1/2 year old grandson who is just starting. The staff at Jackson’s Base Camp were delightful: engaged, motivated, motivating. Both the fitting and the equipment itself ensured everyone had a great time, and the return was seamless. We will be back!
These people are the best! While tryi to decide on a new ski purchase, we rented a couple of times from them Kayo has been wonderful to work with, sharing his knowledge and making sure we had the right fit for skill level and ability. We purchased a new set of skis and the rental price was discounted from the cost. The cost was very reasonable. We checked the price against Evo and other retails shops and found this to be the best price. I find this amazing, since I usually expect a premium for convenience. They are at the base of Park City, so it was easy to ski in and swap for another pair to test. And even though it is peak season, they had the new skis ready to go the next morning! A truly impressive experience. Thank you so much for everything. We will use Jackson's Basr Camp and Kayo for all of of future ski needs!
This team is super efficient and friendly. We walked in and they took care of my wife and I in minutes. Very courteous and welcoming. The gear was great too plus they store your skis and poles overnight and the next morning they grab your gear and you’re back out on the slopes. 5 Stars++
Best experience in a ski shop I have ever had. I got to PC and realized my ski boots were ruined from not being stored properly. The guys here got me fitted into new boots in 30 minutes and the fit was even better than my previous boots. I ended up visiting the shop several times throughout my trip and ended up buying a new set of skis from them as well. Everyone in the shop was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely seemed to care about their job and helping customers.
Jackson’s has quickly become my favorite tune shop in town. Great work and friendly staff. I had two old pairs tuned pre-season that came out perfect. When I misread the snow coverage and accidentally found myself skiing over gravel exiting the backcountry I didn’t hesitate to drop them off at Jackson’s. 24 hours later and my skis are back from the dead. Refreshing to have a fast, friendly and honest experience at a tune shop in PC
