What a fun store! A little something for everyone!!
So cute. A lot is honestly so expensive but its a fun place to wander in and support local vendors.
My wife and I sold here. It’s really unfortunate because we saw that they actually took our business idea completely, and even stole the hangers that we hung our product on and copied us after we decided to leave their store as a vendor. It’s crazy cause this place claims it promotes small businesses, but then steals small business ideas and sells it as their own
I LOVE THIS STORE!!! There are so many fun and unique things you can find here, as well as some beautiful home decor! Anytime we are at the mall, this is my family’s favorite place to stop by. I see other reviews complaining about frustrations with returns so I think it’s important to highlight that this store is essentially a marketplace for local small businesses. Small business owners rent the cubby spaces to sell their items and I think the nature of that kind of store would make things like return policies more nuanced. However, it’s incredible to be able to have such access to shopping small and it’s important for our local economy! Locals is like if Etsy shops had a brick-and-mortar location. So please go, have fun looking around and finding random trinkets and fun things you’d never find elsewhere! It is my favorite place to buy gifts for other people that feel unique and special, and there is literally something there for EVERYONE. When you shop here you’re supporting local small businesses owners and that’s a great feeling to know my money is going back into the pockets of entrepreneurs right here in my community! LOVE Locals!!!
I highly recommend NOT shopping at this store. I purchased some Christmas ornaments knowing I may not use them. I specifically asked about the return policy and was told if I returned within 30 days and had my receipt, there would be no problems. I tried to return the items today, well within my 30 days and was told that no Christmas items can be returned after Nov. 26th. I explained that I had specifically asked about the policy and was NEVER told about the holiday conditional clause. The girl pointed to a sign on the register stating the Nov. 26th deadline. I told her the sign wasn't there when I made the purchase and I had asked about the policy. She argued with me about the sign and then said it is also on the receipt. She is correct. The very last line on the receipt states no returns within 30 days of a holiday. The receipt was printed in extremely light ink and very difficult to read. Locals is not transparent about their policy. They claim you can return. However, depending on when you make your purchase, holiday sales are most likely final. If that is going to be your policy, then there should be signs clearly visible when you enter the store and throughout all the holiday displays. Luckily, there are plenty of other stores with just as cute product that I will be happy to take my business to.
