We want to thank Sheila and all of Maceys staff for hosting our school and giving us the best tour of the grocery store. Our students enjoyed it so much and loved seeing what careers there are and how much you help people and children in the area. Thank you so much!!
Great grocery store with all of the extras that Maceys offers and a phenomenal staff, there to support your shopping experience.
This is a really nice store, but the 3/5 stars is for 2 reasons: 1.) There are no employees to assist you; whether you need help looking for an item, or getting something down. The only people I saw were at the registers, at the bakery, and at the pharmacy. 2.) When going through the regular checkout, not the self checkout, there was a Highschool aged kid who was more interested in his phone and sending text that doing his job. He was bagging with one hand until I cleared my throat loudly while looking at him. But otherwise, store was super clean, and shelves are stocked well. And the variety/selection is better than the other stores in Kimball/PC.
Tremendously high prices. Ex: Vital Farms eggs are $8.99 a dozen and at Walmart they are $6.29. Everything is much higher than Smiths and other grocers. Bread is inconsistently stocked. Don’t get attached to a brand as you may only see it once a month. The final straw was letting a long term employee go. Everyone (but a few) loved him. No coaching was given, no leadership skills exhibited by management. No investigation into the awful “Karen” customer he had to deal with. This employee was the only one who helped raise money for local schools and charities. I only live four blocks away and won’t step foot in this store again until this employee is brought back. Your management and leadership doesn’t know our community and our values, so leave!!!
Best looking grocery store I have ever been to! Very robust product selection and their produce department is second to none.
