Our first time fly fishing, and I am hooked! Ian was an incredible guide and made the entire experience fun, easy, and stress-free. As complete beginners, we appreciated how patient he was, walking us through every step and making sure we felt confident. We even spotted a moose within the first five minutes, which was an amazing bonus! Ian handled absolutely everything—from setting up our gear to helping us catch fish and even taking great photos so we could just enjoy the experience. We had an unforgettable day and will absolutely be back. We’ll definitely be requesting Ian again!

**Five stars doesn't do it justice.** I went out this morning for my very first fly fishing experience on the Provo River, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation I had. My guide James was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived at the river, everything felt first class — the equipment was top-notch, the setting was breathtaking, and James had a way of making a complete beginner feel like they belonged out there. His instruction was clear, patient, and genuinely encouraging without ever being condescending. He has an obvious mastery of his craft, and that confidence is contagious. What made the experience truly memorable wasn't just catching fish on the Provo — it was the way James turned what could have been an intimidating morning into something I'll be talking about for years. He read the river like a book, put me in the right spots, and cheered every small win like it was the catch of a lifetime. my wife and i booked a drift boat trip on the Upper Section of the Green River in wyoming and had the pleasure of being guided by Jake Smith. my wife didn't fish but enjoyed a nice day floating through some beautiful landscapes. I had an incredible day of fishing, thanks to Jake for being patient with some of my self taught bad habits. i told him i wanted to catch some cutthroat on big dry flies and jake made those dreams come true. beautiful float surrounded by nature: we saw pronghorn, eagles, night hawks, and even an otter. we were staying in park city and we thought the day trip there and back was a very easy scenic drive. i hope i get the opportunity to book another float with jake in the future.
Park City Fly Fishing Guides made the experience of Fly Fishing for the first time easy, educational and fun. Dan was my wife and I’s guide and he did a great job communicating during our time on river. He was patient and insightful. He got us on some fish and taught us some techniques and strategies along the way. Highly recommend.
