Stopped in to this iconic Park City fly shop today to buy some flies and get some info on fishing the Green River. Could not have been more pleased and impressed with the team at Trout Bum 2. Imparted so much knowledge, took their time to show me specific places on the map and again, the whole experience exceeded my expectations. Thank you TB2 team, you guys ROCK!
Fantastic! Had a group of 4 with 2 that have never picked up a fly rod. Aaron and Mark were our guides. They put us in the right spots with the right flies. Thier instruction was professional and enthusiastic. The first few casts and we were landing browns. We had a steady two days of catching fish. Aaron and Mark can take first timers and keep them busy fighting fish! Thanks!! - Madison
Trout Bum 2 made our fly fishing trip so easy! From the communication to an awesome guide, they really take care of their clients. Aaron Adams was assigned as our guide, and man does he know what he's doing. The day prior to our fishing trip, Aaron called and made sure my wife and I didn't have any questions. He reminded us of some key clothing items - like a good pair of socks - and then sent a pin of the meetup location. He had done some research and recommended the Lower Provo due to how fast the water was running at the middle of the Provo. I'm glad he recommended it as it was perfect. Honestly, I was just looking for a good time in the great outdoors, but Aaron gave us so much more. He was a patient teacher and clearly enjoys what he does. If you are going to fish here in Utah, use Aaron. You won't regret it.
Awesome assistance. We caught a ton of big brown trout. Couldn’t have done it without our fishing guide Kip. He made sure we had tons of fun. You can’t go wrong with this outfit !
Trout Bum 2 is my go to for fly fishing every time I’m in Park City. The guides are awesome and make sure you’re on the fish and having a fantastic time. I cannot praise them enough. Plus the shop has pretty great gear as well. My favorite guide is Chris. He is chill but makes sure to give pointers to help your experience be the best it can be. It was like fishing with a long time friend you just met. I’ll never look elsewhere. Trout Bum 2 is the absolute best.
