We booked our third tour with this company for our family of four. Although it was 60 degrees and the snow was melting, our guide Jeff took us on the ride off a lifetime. We had a blast! We will always come back to Park City Peaks!
We had a great time snowmobiling. Our guide was energetic and fun. The scenery was gorgeous! The snowmobiles were in good condition. Helmets were provided and the guide brings a cooler with water for participants. Our tour started with a 5min ride to a meadow where we got accustomed with riding. We then hit the trails for a fairly short time. We had a wide range of abilities in our group, so a nice and easy ride was good for us. The end of our tour did feel rushed. I suspect that bc our original tour was not “private” but was offered at check in if we guaranteed a 15% gratuity, that our guide may have foregone a break to accommodate this. While we were circling in the meadow, our guide was eating lunch and keeping an eye on us. We were going to ask him to take pictures but didn’t want to interrupt him. Also, this part lasted longer than any of us would have liked but we all thought it was probably his only opportunity to have lunch so we just went with it. We finally hit the trails and that was a super fun ride. We wished that part would have lasted longer. We encountered a large snow vehicle transporting skiers and it was blocking the trail. Our guide had words with that operator and it was something that bothered him for most of the rest of our tour. We were able to squeeze around that vehicle so it really did not waste our tour time. But when we got to the overlook, our guide was still angry and telling another guide about the encounter plus he was on his radio telling someone on there about it, too. We heard him say he had another tour after ours and that he was pushing it on time. This is when we started feeling rushed and we do think it had more to do with the entended time/lunch break in the meadow than the brief delay on the trail. And after all that rushing, all of a sudden he was taking his time again for the last little bit once we were back near the cabin again. I still gave 5 stars bc he had a really fun personality and we had a great time…and we think it was their switching us to a private group that might’ve put a kink in the schedule for them….and being a private group was a good call for us bc we would’ve tipped at least 15% anyway. In fact, we would’ve done 20% at the end if not for feeling a bit rushed at times and that we missed some photo ops. There were lots of things we would have liked to stop and take pictures of but went zooming past instead. We did make 2 stops for group pics and got a few at the end. Our guide had a talent for photography and the pics he took of us turned out really good. It was not a perfect tour but it was still a great time and we all enjoyed the experience. Our guide was very fun and just needed to tweak the time mgmnt a smidge but nothing I’d knock them a star for. If you are interested in snowmobiling, there are probably many options in the area and Park City Peaks is a good choice:)
We had an amazing time today with Kenny! Great time and beautiful scenery. This is our second time going with this company. They are by far the best in the area!!! I would highly recommend this company you will not be disappointed!! 5 stars on all areas!!
We loved our 2 hour tour! Beever was an excellent guide - I was very nervous and found driving the snowmobile challenging, but he was very patient and encouraging and kept the vibes high. The scenery was stunning and we got to see so many different areas of the ranch. As soon as we got back I wanted to book another tour straight away! Highly recommend for any visitors to the area, including kids - my 8 and 10 year old nephews loved it.
Hands down one of the best experiences of our entire Utah trip! James was an incredible guide—professional, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun—doing a fantastic job leading the group and making sure everyone was comfortable on the snowmobiles. The scenery was beyond amazing… pure postcard views in every direction. We were lucky enough to get fresh snow the night before, which made an already great ride absolutely perfect, especially during a lighter snow year. At the top of the mountain, James introduced us to his brother Jack, who is also a guide. They must have been raised right—both were outstanding guys who truly elevated the experience. This is a must-do in Park City!
