Protection Self Storage is a family business born from an idea that started in 2011. After the financial crisis completely destroyed every member of our family's finances, we knew something needed to change. Over the next eight years, our family did everything we could to become self storage facility owners and operators. Finally, on June 1st, 2019, we opened our Provo, Utah facility. Shortly after, on September 1st, 2019, we opened our Park City, Utah, facility. Through our struggles, we learned hard work, determination, and patience. Our family runs each facility so that we are uniquely positioned to help our customers through times of transition. It also allows us to work with people who are in need. We are deeply committed to our community and are proud to be not only a family-owned business but a locally owned business as well. We strive to support our local youth sports, theatrical, church, and other positive programs, and we offer assistance to local church and charity activities. We are a proud Christian organization that loves all members of our community and welcomes diversity and kindness in all forms. Our goal is to offer the citizens of the communities we serve a simple leasing process that gives our customers the highest level of security with a premium level of service. This is why we have adopted the taglines: Self Storage Simplified, Security and Simplicity, and taking good care of you and your stuff.

Protection self storage is the absolute worst. They illegally broke into my unit. In Utah drilling a tenants lock is illegal as it gets (and yes, i was current in my payments. Numerous units there has been ransacked. Please don't ever leave your things with these people.
I love this facility it was very professional and clean. Noah did a great job assisting me with everything I needed. The team did a great job. Highly recommend using this storage facility
The BEST storage unit is right here- look no further! Anissa provides outstanding customer service, extremely helpful with deliveries and questions I had while renting a unit for work at this location. The units are very clean- I never had a single spider or mouse problem! Thank you for being topnotch!
Made the rounds of all storage facilities in the Park City area and chose this one. So clean, easy access, great staff and competitive pricing. So far so GREAT.
I do not recommend and would not use again. Not happy with my unit at Protection Self Storage. Ultimately the unit is not the size I pay them for. I pay them for a 10x10 but it is not 10 feet in ANY direction. I politely brought it up to the desk employee who did nothing to help and said no other unit would be that measurement so there was nowhere to move me. My unit is short by over 2 feet in one direction and a full foot the other way. Other than that everything else is fine. Place is clean. Customer service is fine. Location works for our needs. I’m definitely not happy with staying but moving my belongings would be much more of a hassle and expensive. I did bring it up to them prior to moving a single item into the unit. They just could not do anything to help according to the man we spoke with at the office. Perhaps someone else would’ve been more helpful but that was my experience. He did however explain variance and made sure to state that most, if not all storage companies are never exact measurements. Well interesting enough, Ive only used storage facilities twice before this and both times (different companies) my units were the size I was being charged for, I guess I just got lucky. Store here or not I just want others to be aware that you’re paying for more than you’re physically being given and other companies might give you the actual square footage you pay for. If you care, be sure to measure.
