We wanted to end our Park City vacation on a high note and mission accomplished. We were flying out Saturday (2/28/26) afternoon and booked an early Saturday am flight with Skywalker Ballon Company (Will, owner and pilot). My wife and I did a hot air ballon ride in PC 33 years ago and wanted to give our daughter the same opportunity. My daughter was blown away! It was such an amazing experience with the Skywalker team. The views from 11,995 feet were completely stunning. The tranquility and peacefulness in the ballon were awesome. We were very comfortable in the basket and always felt very safe. Will was very detailed, professional and very amiable. Will shared various aspects of the flight. You could really sense his passion for hot air ballooning throughout our flight. Dan, Will’s ground teammate, was very helpful, hard worker, shared lots of pictures he took of us before liftoff and was super personable. Their post flight celebration and conversations were very enjoyable. I highly recommend Skywalker and will be visiting them again when we return to PC for skiing and hot air ballooning.
We just completed a wonderful flight on Saturday, August 30. It was one of our party’s 80th birthday. The staff was more than kind and considerate. The flight was soft and gentle. We all were able to feel safe getting in and out of the vessel. The Captain took us on a wonderful flight completing almost a perfect circle, and setting us down on a dead-end, brand new highway . One of my goals ! Visiting Utah was to get to see some different wildlife than I do on my home island of Maui, and it’s so happened that we hovered gently over four beautiful buck! I would recommend a flight, but especially an adventure with this team .
Skywalker Will and his team were awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience of a lifetime. This was a bucket list item for us and it did not disappoint from watching them set up the balloon and basket, to the flight itself and the incredible views to the perfect landing, assisting with the pack up and ride back to our car in the bottom of the basket. The safe landing toast and the balloon pilot's prayer was a nice touch to cap an experience we'll never forget. Thank you!
**Update: the owner, Will, was incredibly generous and offered to take me up for free after my booking issue. The flight was so smooth and gentle, it was an amazing experience to float and see Park City from that perspective. Will and his team are very efficient, fun, and personable, and help everyone feel involved in the experience. Will has a passion for what he does, and he does a tremendous job sharing his passion with others. I highly recommend Skywalker Balloon Co. if you’re considering a hot air balloon flight! ——- My flight got cancelled, and no one informed me. I booked a hot air balloon flight reservation one month in advance, for my birthday the next month. I received a reminder email about my flight the day before the flight was scheduled, confirming the reservation. I drove 2 hours out of my way, getting up at 5am on a Saturday, wasting 2 hours worth of gas, only to arrive and find no one at the sight. I called the company, and they said the flight had been cancelled. I was incredibly sad when I got the news, as I had been looking forward to it for a month (and many years, as it’s a bucket list item for me). The owner was very apologetic, and I understand errors and technical issues happen. But as a customer, it’s very disappointing and ended up being a big waste of time. I still hope to go up in a hot air balloon one day, but for any considering this particular service, I just advise, double and triple check with the company and owner before you make the drive out. I did receive a full refund.
Wow, what an amazing experience! Everyone should go on a balloon flight at least once in their life, it's like nothing else: the peace and quiet up there, and the views! Simply breathtaking Our pilot Willy has been doing this for 20 years and it shows! He was extremely knowledgeable about the local topography and features of the land below and explained everything that was happening in a way that made me feel really comfortable. The views up there were amazing from 10,000 feet, and the glide down was nice and easy. Then once we got out of the basket and back on the ground we were treated to a delightful round of mimosa's! If you have been contemplating a balloon flight, just do it! This is an experience I'll never forget & this was the perfect company to go with. Thank you sooooo much!
