I had a brief stay and loved the spacious 1 bedroom suite. I also deeply appreciated the front of house staff and manager Rainer Villegas. Thank you for a delightful stay!

absolutely terrible. i didn’t even stay here and yet they still charged me (about $450) ~ my flight from Paris was delayed and i got rerouted to another city — so (within just a few hours of booking) i asked for credit for a future stay and their only reply was “declined.” usually there’s a 24h booking courtesy — and they still had time to sell my room considering it’s peak tourist season — and build loyalty with me for a future stay — and they choose not to. strikes me as massively insensitive and left me feeling bad.

Update - maybe because of this review. They haven’t released the hold on my credit card and it’s been a week today! The Good - The Bad -The Ugly The Good- rooms are spacious but out dated. Great location. The place is really pretty in the common areas but does not reflect on the rooms. The Bad - There was a fishy smell as soon as you walk in. One of the bathrooms offers a jetted tub but it is set on a timer which is located out of reach not even in the same room. The furniture is out dated. The beds are not comfortable. There are no plugs near the beds so charging your phones makes it difficult unless you bring a real long extension cord. The Ugly - cleanliness is not that great. I say this because there was black pubic hair on and around the jetted tub. But worse of all there was a man’s underwear left in our room. I brought it up to Daniela the host at the front desk. She offered to remove the underwear but I don’t think she grasped the grossness of the situation. She didn’t offer us another room, or to have house cleaning to come in or compensation. We pay a lot of money to stay there. I expect better. Luckily we were there for one night. Didn’t shower just couldn’t wait to get home and shower.

I really wanted to like this, and there were a few small positives, but overall it just didn’t work for us. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes it can help make things better for someone else. Kind and helpful employees. Rooms are just okay. Navigating the property is super confusing. Sauna consistently broken. Parking is a complete thumbs down. We won’t be back.

This is a good location... HOWEVER, the rooms are very old and outdated with many layers of paint. The room I stayed in had a very pronounced slope to the floor that led to a low spot in the hallway. Throughout the stay, we were continually finding black beetle -type bugs on the walls and ceiling. I informed the front desk and they said "housekeeping was in charge of that". There was no action or follow-up to my complaint. The bathrooms did not have electrical outlets - the only outlet by the bathroom was at the vanity in the main bedroom. They do charge an additional $18.50 per day for a resort fee. I would definitely NOT call this place a "resort". In the end - I'd liken this "resort" to putting lipstick on a pig - it is still a pig.
