We had such a great experience at Hogle Zoo this week! The zoo was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made our visit even more enjoyable. They have an excellent summer program with student volunteers who were friendly, knowledgeable, and helped make the experience engaging, not only for the animals but for kids like my daughter as well. There were plenty of activities happening throughout the day, so we always had something fun to do between exhibits. One of the highlights was seeing all the baby animals, especially the adorable new baby orangutan baby Weila! It was such a special experience. If you're looking for a fun family outing, I highly recommend visiting Hogle Zoo!!
We had such a great time visiting Hogle Zoo while we were in Salt Lake City! One of my favorite things about this zoo was the beautiful mountain views surrounding it. It made the whole experience feel even more special. The zoo was clean, easy to walk through, and we really appreciated all the misting stations throughout the park since it was a warm day. The kids loved all the animals, especially getting to see the tiger eating and hearing it roar! We also enjoyed seeing the baby leopard. A bonus for us was being able to use our Toledo Zoo membership through the AZA reciprocal program, which helped us save on admission. If you’re visiting Salt Lake City, I’d definitely recommend adding Hogle Zoo to your list. It was a fun day for our family, and we’d love to come back again someday! 🦒🏔️🐅
My husband and I went during the Memorial Holiday. I have never been before. It was a wonderful adventure. We enjoyed strolling through the park and we were able to see all the animals except for the nocturnal ones. But I was so excited to feed the Giraffes, and to see the Polar bear swimming in his pool, watching the Rino walking on those beautiful feet (i kept calling them tippy toes, youll understand when you see them). It was a great experience. We plan on bringing our Grandbabies this summer.
This place was great for what it was. It is relatively smaller compared to something like the Detroit zoo. Definitely a wide variety of animals for a relatively small space but definitely a wonderful place to visit. This is definitely a family place with lots of activities for children. Would recommend buying tickets online as they were two dollars cheaper compared to purchasing at the gate.
Such a wonderful zoo. Staff were very friendly and zoo keeps were full of knowledge. Their prices were fair and they offer AZA reciprocity. Their collection of animals was extensive. Overall if you have a few hours to spend wondering a beautiful zoo then it’s definitely worth a visit.
