Fished with Derek and Logan. Everything about the trip was perfect. Easy access, great equipment, beautiful scenery and good fishing. Derek and Logan were so fun to hang with. They love fly fishing and sharing all the details from making their own flys to understanding the Provo. I was ready to go again the next day. I would recommend them to beginners and fly fishing pros.
My husband, my son and my daughter’s boyfriend didn’t have a great time… THEY HAD A BLAST!!! Logan was their guide and he was absolutely phenomenal! He was incredibly patient, super friendly, he made sure to communicate not just all about fishing but where we come from and who we are, he was super funny and he paid the purest attention to detail not just to and for the anglers, but his raw confidence and experience with understanding the hatch day in and day out. Logan isn’t just the right person to be your guide, he is the PERFECT reason to be your guide. Utah Troutfitters, y’all are amazing and cant thank you enough for such a fun time and great experience! What an amazing mother-son adventure with Logan at Utah Troutfitters! The 6:00 a.m. wake-up call was absolutely worth it. The early start gave us beautiful morning conditions on the river and some incredible views of Utah’s scenery that made the experience even more special. Logan was patient, knowledgeable, and such a great guide throughout the entire trip. He took the time to explain techniques, answer questions, and make sure we were both having a great experience regardless of our skill level. My son caught so many fish and had an absolute blast! Watching his excitement with each catch was the highlight of the day. Between the successful fishing, Logan’s expertise, and the stunning scenery, this was easily one of our favorite memories from our time in Utah. We highly recommend Logan and Utah Troutfitters to anyone looking for an unforgettable fly fishing experience in Utah!
