Our mission is to create beautiful living environments that fit and reflect each client, their style, and their home. Each project is a full collaboration with the client's tastes, needs, and resources carefully considered and kept firmly in mind. Designing spaces that truly suit each customer and are the best expression of their style is our passion. I have maintained a professional relationship with WMI through multiple jobs, and can’t say enough good things about their team and their end result. Cannot recommend enough !
Not all business relationships work out, and there's nothing wrong with that. But this went significantly beyond that. 1. I reached out to them in early Jan '25 for help redecorating a small home office and wallpapering a bathroom. It took 13 months to get wallpaper for two rooms and a rug. They never indicated it would take that long, despite an aggressive e-mail claiming to the contrary. 2. Working with them was difficult. For example, they wrote on a Friday asking if I was available at 10a on Tuesday. I responded within an hour saying that I couldn't do 10 but I could do other days that week or other times that day, to which they responded that I had to meet at 10 on Tuesday or there would likely be weeks more delay. (They ultimately did make a different time work, but what the heck was that?) 3. While they did find us truly fantastic wallpaper, I thought the rest of their help was at best mid. There were times that they seemed to just be sending random, uncurated ideas (one major reason we only ended up with wallpaper and a rug). 4. The communication was poor. Early on, they would disappear and respond vaguely they were running behind when asked where they went. Then, when we ran into some issues, I perceived the responses as both needlessly aggressive and factually inaccurate. (Our main point of contact had been warm in person, making her emails especially jarring.) In fairness, I should note that when we pointed out that the rug was the wrong size and did not look right in the room, they gave us a full refund. But we would have left the whole experience far less frustrated if they'd just been cordial and professional and *not* taken the rug back rather than what actually happened, which was to send an aggressive, inaccurate e-mail, and then give us a refund when we pushed back on a misstatement. Bottom line, I'd suggest avoiding these folks. I would have written the whole experience off as a combination of bad luck and a bad fit if not for what I found to be an aggressive style of communication that lacked candor.
We had such a great experience working with Williams Metcalf Interiors on our new home build. From the very beginning, their team was thoughtful, detail-oriented, and just genuinely easy to work with. They have a way of making everything feel both beautiful and livable. Every decision felt considered, from the architectural coordination to the final furnishings. The 3D drawings were incredibly helpful, especially since we were building in Park City and I had a hard time visualizing the scale of the rooms. It made the whole process feel so much more clear and manageable. They stayed organized, communicative, and steady the entire time, which made a big difference during what can be a complicated process. We always felt confident in their guidance. The end result feels personal, elevated, and truly complete. We would absolutely work with them again!!!
Williams & Metcalf Interiors is the most talented team of designers. We have been working with Morgan for over two years on designing and furnishing our home. She makes every project so fun and special, and can make your vision come to life while staying within your budget. She and the team have made every room in our house a warm and inviting space where everyone gathers. We will only choose Williams and Metcalf Interiors for any future projects!
Morgan is an absolute design maven - she works closely with her clients to ensure their needs are met and never puts her own opinions before theirs. She is fun, kind, and easy to work with, and I would recommend her to anyone!
