I was referred to call Sueanne when my family participated in a more "nose to tail" experience and I mentioned to that guide how I wanted to really get out on a ride. I am so glad I called and even more grateful Sueanne was a able to accommodate me with only a couple days left in our visit. She was very kind and easy to talk through booking - I appreciated her thoroughness and care to ensure she was going to have the right combination of horses and riders together. Susan and Kathy were our Genaroos for the ride and they were so so kind; easy to connect with quickly and obviously cared a great deal for the horses. I did bring a pair of riding pants, but didn't have boots/helmet/chaps/etc - all of this was available to borrow onsite which was extremely helpful. I have never ridden a true gaited horse before and boy was that a treat! We pasoed and cantered through the hills and deserty trails while taking care to rest the horses appropriately and get water breaks ourselves. It was truly a treasure meeting Asante, my sweet horse, and enjoying an afternoon with new friends. Thanks again, would absolutely recommend Sueanne and her crew to riders in the area and would love to return myself someday!
Had an amazing trail ride today with Sue Ann and Susan at Wind in your Hair - the scenery was gorgeous and the horses were so smooth and well behaved (and beautiful)! I can't wait to come back and ride here again!
We can't recommend the wonderful horseback adventure with Sueanne enough. It was amazing from the very begining. She was very accomodating allowing us to do a ride on Christmas Eve. Her horses are beautiful and so friendly; she creates a very cherished opportunity to bond with our lovely horses before the ride. Very happy, healthy and well trained horses. I rode a gorgeous Paso Fino named Asante which was a delight. The trail is beautiful and keeps things interesting with plenty of twists, turns, deer and emerald ponds; the love and dedication shines through the whole experience. The barn in itself was super cozy and very cute! Thank you Sueanne and Susan for such a lovely Christmas Eve! We hope to see you again š„°
I had the most amazing 3 hour ride with Sueanne at Wind In Your Hair Riding! The farm was so beautiful and the horses are loved and well cared for. Sueanne is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic - it was so fun to spend the afternoon with her. The trails were well maintained and the views were spectacular. It was so fun to see what was around each turn. Sueanne matched me up with Cheyanne who was so great to ride. Smooth and fun. I would highly recommend Wind In Your Hair to anyone who has riding experience and is looking for a really fun trail ride. I will definitely return if Iām in this area again! Thank you Sueanne!
Absolutely amazing ride for experienced riders! Sueanne is so passionate and knowledgeable about Paso Finos and she creates a fantastic experience for her guests. My horse was well trained, responsive, and so light on his feet! Lots of long canters and "pasos" that were silky smooth. Highly recommend for any experienced riders visiting the area!
