I want to sincerely thank everyone who helped save my dog’s life. Björn was diagnosed with GDV, and without the quick action of Dr. DiGiovannie and her team, he likely would not have survived. They understood how critical the situation was and acted immediately. They took the time to clearly explain what was happening and had everything prepared for his transfer to MedVet in Salt Lake after surgery. Because of their skill, efficiency, and care, we were able to bring our dog home to our family. We are incredibly grateful to have a facility like this in Park City that can provide such timely and life-saving care for our animals.
I have owned dogs for over 60 years and we had an issue with our Yorkshire terrier today and took her into bark city and I have to say that that was the best Veterinary Clinic experience I have had in over 60 years!!!! They were kind efficient and very helpful. I just love the staff.. I wouldn’t hesitate to strongly recommend them. Their hours are limited, but boy is that a great staff at all levels.!!!
Bark City is absolutely wonderful & so informed & considerate of our concerns. We rescued a French Bulldog puppy in December of 2024 & in February of 2025 he began experiencing abnormal health complications. We took him to Bark City & we met Dr. Hechler & her team who provided the best care. This is our first puppy & we worry often for his health because we love him so much!! Since seeing Bark City in February/March, our puppy (Puddles) has been doing great! Last week, he stopped using his back hind leg & it was not determined if it was physical or neurological. Dr. Hechler was out of the country & we took Puddles to four other vet teams in the valley. Our stress was high as we were told so many overwhelming scenarios, such as early stages of paralysis & the offer to euthanize our sweet baby. We could not believe what we were being told & the price of $12,000 for an undetermined cause. Bark City was able to schedule us an appointment as soon as Dr. Hechler returned & the relief she provided us was unimaginable. All the other scenarios that other clinics described to us, was not what took place on our visit. Dr. Hechler & her team are INCREDIBLE & transparent as well as kind. We are so beyond grateful for how they care for our sweet puppy. Puddles & every dog is so deserving of the best care & Bark City is just that! The team is patient, kind, & generous. Thank you Bark City! I highly recommend if you’re considering care at this clinic, this will be the best decision for the health of your furry family member 🩵
I’ve worked in the medical field now for 20 years - the human one. I’ve worked in a surgical ICU for 19 years. I’ve met many many surgeons great and not so great. Dr. Jones is an amazing surgeon that is extremely well educated and very dedicated to our furry friends. He made us feel extremely comfortable and you could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. His personality alone was comforting during a very uneasy time with our fur child. He answered ALL of our many questions with sincerity and humor. His dedication to his field both in and out of work shows through and through. We would absolutely recommend Dr. Jones and Bark City and in the unfortunate circumstance we need him again we will absolutely seek him out again. PS. Xander says Thank you!
Dr. Stephen Jones came highly recommended and even with knowing all that, he proceeded to exceeded all of our expectations! The entire staff was attentive and available 24/7. Dr Jones was very thorough and helped us explore all of our options for our dog. His bedside manner was phenomenal! We ended up going with a Total Hip replacement which is no small commitment. He gave us great resources and made sure we were well educated! The actual procedure proved to have some complications due to unforeseen circumstances with our dog’s bone density. But he went above and beyond to make sure the procedure had a positive outcome. And we are so happy with all the effort he made to make our dogs life better! He takes such pride and ownership in all he does and it doesn’t go unnoticed! We can’t sing his praises loud enough. He has made it so our dog can have a great life and continue to bring joy to our family! Thank you Dr. Jones and staff!
