Contender Bikes absolutely nailed it. Ordered a bike online and, instead of just boxing it up and sending it out, they reached out first to get my details so they could dial in the suspension. That’s the kind of service you usually only get in a really good local shop. They kept me in the loop the whole time while the bike was being prepped, which made the whole process feel super dialed and not just another online order. This is how online bike sales should be done! Great communication, great service—couldn’t ask for more.
We're fortunate to have a lot of good bike shops and mechanics in the Park City area, but I think Contender may be the best. Had two really great experiences recently with their service team - very courteous and knowledgeable, and were very willing to listen to my issues and offer different solutions, depending on how much I was willing to spend. Just picked up my bike for a pretty extensive tune -- I asked them to make it as good as new, and it's actually now smoother and quieter than when I first bought the bike three years ago.
The guys and gals at the shop are super helpful!! As a visitor, I was treated warmly and offered excellent service. They were able to order an obscure part and install it with expertise. I highly recommend this bike shop to keep your stoke high when visiting Park City!
5-star experience at Contender. Superb staff, attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. I test rode a few bikes and they helped me find the perfect option. I then came back to add wireless shifting and they were so helpful once again. They take the time to listen to your needs and the entire team has a service-oriented approach. So glad to have found Contender.
I would rent again here. Easy and straight forward process. Shop is in strategicaly excellent location. Directly beside the shop there is the access to the yellow loop trail, from that trail one can branch out in many other trails, paved, gravel or dirt.
