My hair is severely damaged, gummy, and breaking after my experience at Hair Solutions. I came in with an inspiration picture, but from the very beginning the stylist did not follow the process needed to achieve that look—so even without the reaction from my previous semi-permanent copper dye, it would not have turned out right. I also wasn’t asked about prior color, and I didn’t realize how important it was to mention it, which led to a bad reaction during bleaching. My hair is now multiple uneven colors, and my haircut is uneven by over 2 inches. The stylist I was scheduled with was recommended as their best for the bleach job and cut I wanted, which makes this even more disappointing. While everyone was very kind and they didn’t charge me, and even offered to try to fix it, I didn’t feel comfortable moving forward with them. They ultimately recommended I go elsewhere to have it corrected. Overall, the experience was a nightmare and my hair looks really bad and is significantly damaged. That said, everyone I interacted with was genuinely kind and professional, which I do appreciate. I only share this in hopes that it will help protect someone else’s hair. This was my first bleach in 5 years after letting my hair grown and taking great care of it. My hair was LONG, STRONG, and HEALTHY. Now it’s breaking everywhere, has a cut that’s visibly uneven, looks nothing like the inspiration pictures, and is about 8 different colors in massive splotches all over. It will take several months for my hair to recover and I certainly can’t try bleaching it again right now. Don’t just book any old place. Do the research and be patient. That was my biggest mistake.

My mother and I booked blowouts together, and unfortunately our visit did not meet expectations. During the service, my scalp was pulled very hard, even after I expressed that I was in pain, and it remained sore afterward. Additionally, inappropriate conversations took place with both my mother and me, which made the experience uncomfortable and unprofessional. After sharing my concerns, the salon owner personally reached out to apologize and offered a full refund. I appreciate the accountability and effort to address the situation. Because of that follow-up, I am updating my review to reflect both the experience and the response from the owner. Thank you Mikelle for reaching out. I can only speak to my experience with one employee and cannot comment on the owner or other stylists. I sincerely hope other clients have a much more positive experience than we did.

I went in for a 3-4 inches trim of hair far past shoulder length, I now have bangs! Gives the haircut he wants to give and ignores everything you ask. I kept saying not to cut there and instead of respecting my request her turned the chair around and said he would take care out it. I should have walked out half way through when he would not stop cutting.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Krystin Elton at Hair Solutions in Park City. I went in for a simple service: to touch up my roots, match my highlights, and get a trim. What I walked out with was an absolute disaster. First, instead of a soft brown with highlights my hair was bleached to a brittle, fried mess with all shades of blonde—and none of them matched! My once soft and healthy hair now feels like straw. Second, the "trim" I asked for turned into an uneven, jagged haircut that looks amateur at best. To make matters worse, I paid nearly $250 for this nightmare and will now have to find a qualified stylist to fix it. It's clear that Krystin has no idea what she’s doing, and I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone. Save your time, money, and hair—go elsewhere. Follow-up: I can’t thank Larry at Hair Solutions enough for rescuing my hair and turning a bad situation around! After a challenging experience, the owner of the salon reached out and kept their promise to make things right, assigning their best stylist, Larry, to work on my hair. Larry is truly a magician. He took my brassy, straw-like, damaged hair and made it picture-worthy. While it’s not fully healthy yet, his skill and expertise brought it back to life in a way I didn’t think was possible. What’s more, he fit me in at a moment’s notice despite his busy schedule and gave my hair the care and attention it desperately needed. Thank you, Larry, for your incredible work, your kindness, and your talent. And thank you to the salon for doing the right thing. Highly recommend Larry at Hair Solutions.

I have been coming to Larry at Hair Solutions for many years and he is terrific. He is an excellent colorist...I am frequently complimented on my hair, how healthy it looks for being so long, and how natural the color looks. Thank you Larry!
