Enjoyed the experience so much. Made so many friends on the workshop in NYC and never felt alone. Cant wait to meet more friends during my year abroad.

Hosts and Aupairs DO NOT GO WITH THIS AGENCY!

Does nothing to help protect their aupairs. Provides insurance policies that never pay out and take months to respond to claims. Actively advises host families to illegally pay their aupairs below minimum wage. Avoid at all cost.

I am deeply disappointed with my experience. While I understand that eligibility decisions must follow program requirements, the overall process felt impersonal and lacking in meaningful guidance. In my exchanges with Shelby Strong, the communication felt dismissive rather than supportive. For me, the experience ultimately felt like a significant waste of time and money, especially given the level of investment required from international applicants.

I’ve been using Interexchange since 2017 to host the last four pairs and now I’m interviewing for my fifth. We live in New Jersey now and I can honestly say my overall experience with the company has been wonderful. I had some great Au Pair‘s throughout the years and have been very grateful for their help! And the local coordinators were very helpful as well.
