I recently had the pleasure of working with three outstanding staff members at Mountain America Credit Union in Park City, and I felt compelled to share my experience. Luis assisted me with a car loan and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. His knowledge and professionalism were evident from start to finish. Julianne helped me with credit card options and was incredibly thorough, patient, and kind — she made sure I fully understood everything before moving forward. Cary walked me through home loan information with expertise and genuine care, answering every question I had with clarity and warmth. All three of them went above and beyond. They were knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely kind — the kind of people who make you feel like a valued member, not just a number. Luis, Cary, and Julianne — thank you. You've made me a loyal Mountain America member. Highly recommend this branch to anyone looking for a credit union that truly puts people first.

MACU does not honor their fraud protection promise on their VISA credit card. A family member was approached by a group that said they were raising money for cancer foundation. Had matching shirts, clipboards etc. He said ok, I'll give $10 and gave them his VISA credit card. He then checked and they had pulled $10. However a week later he saw they had charged $3000. He called the bank right away and they said they would investigate. A month later and they say that it wasn't going to be refunded! He reopened the dispute and filed a complaint with the FTC and some other organization. MACU again says no they won't reimburse. I spoke to a manager at MACU headquarters. She said something to the effect of "yes it likely was a scam but what do you expect, the bank to pay?". YES! That is what Fraud Protection is! We are closing out multiple accounts with MACU and will never bank with them again. Highly advise against banking here. It's sad because we used to like this bank.

Just started going here because the big-named bank nearby was increasing their fees. So far, great experience. Luis was great in setting up our personal accounts and 3 business accounts.

Christopher was amazing. My account was stuck. He spent over an hour helping me. As we waiting he helped me upgrade my account and print a new card. His smile and humor helped me from getting frustrated. I really appreciate the small back customer service feel from Chris.

I had an amazing experience today with Mackenzie as my teller! She helped me navigate which certificate made the most sense for me to open (the reason for my visit.) On top of helping me with the certificate, she took the time to help me set up an auto payment on my car, and a money market account as she realized I was not set up with these accounts. I really appreciated her taking the time to advise me on where to put my money. I feel a lot more confident in the accounts I have open now. She was a huge help!! Thanks Mackenzie!!!
