Summit County Clubhouse
The Clubhouse is an international, evidence-based program supporting adults with mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance use disorder, PTSD and other clinical diagnoses. The Clubhouse is not a treatment center. Our services complement and reinforce the therapeutic treatment members receive from mental health providers and can serve as a critical stop-gap for those not yet undergoing treatment for their illness. The basis of Summit County Clubhouse is our uniquely supportive and collaborative Clubhouse setting, where members rebuild their self-respect, dignity, and abilities through education, productive work, and meaningful relationships. In treatment settings, adults with mental illness are labeled "client" and considered "disabled". Summit County Clubhouse turns this all around. Here, members and staff work side by side as partners, operating all aspects of the organization in a team approach based on mutual respect. In this way, a person who has struggled with mental health becomes a valued participant, a colleague, and a critical part of the Clubhouse community. And it's working! SCC members report reduced hospitalization and incarceration rates, fewer symptoms of illness and isolation, higher employment rates and a strong sense of community. Since 2019, Summit County Clubhouse has been proving that people with a diagnosed mental illness can lead normal, productive lives when treated with respect, dignity, compassion and understanding.

The atmosphere is perfect for inspiration to be the best version of oneself. Clean but cozy in a way that makes me want to dive into a project or start a backyard BBQ gathering. The kitchen is immaculate and I cant wait to visit again (especially for a lunch. ♡)
Ok so Jen and staff are 100% amazing so cool! She has helped me so much in so many ways to become aware of various supports and resources in the Summit and Wasatch county communities! So grateful for her and her amazing energy and commitment support in helping protecting and loving those of us that are struggling in the community. Ana, Katia, and Lu have been amazing supports as well from technical help to resume building and even preparing amazing nutrition and sometimes even specialized lunches. Could not be more grateful. I have been between homes for 2 1/2 weeks and my life is already so so so on track largely due to their care and assistance and sunbstantial requirements for personal accountability and massive action. Thanks ladies!
The staff (and members) are welcoming, kind, and engaging. An extremely supportive group of people. Lunch is delicious and affordable. Teamwork is encouraged, and everyone's ability shines. Log onto their website for details.
