I'm from Austin, TX (live music capital of the world) and thought I wouldn't find the same vibe in Salt Lake. I was wrong - The State Room has become my go to for live music. The venue has amazing sound and they curate the most amazing group of artists. On any given night you can discover a great band or see an old favorite. The venue also has plenty of seating if you don't feel like standing. Ample surface parking right next door for just $10 makes it even easier. The concerts typically wrap up around 10:30 p.m., so it doesn't have to be a late night to enjoy quality music. It has a nice full bar inside and friendly staff. If you are in Salt Lake, you must go!
Great local music venue and music production company. Also run the commonwealth room. Check out their stuff. Fair drink prices too. Avoid live nation and go local
Great little venue! Not a bad seat and the sound is pretty good. Love the huge disco ball! I wish there were all ages shows. My kid will be old enough in the next couple of years but there a few shows I wish we could have gone to together.
This is among my favorite venues in SLC. I like that you can get up close with the bands and dance on the floor or chill in the stadium seating pews. I've seen so many shows here. Great staff and great songs sound!
