Whether you’re looking for an apres-ski cocktail, an after-dinner drink or a frothy  craft beer, the bars in Park City have you covered.

It should be noted, however, that in Utah there are certain alcohol-related rules that each establishment must follow to maintain their business and liquor licenses. To begin with, the legal drinking age in Utah is 21 years or older and you must be at least 21 to enter any bar or club, regardless of whether you intend to consume alcohol or not.

Be prepared to show your ID before entering the establishment.

Additionally, bartenders are required by state law to limit the amount of hard liquor in mixed drinks to 2.5 ounces total and you may only be served one drink at a time. This means pitchers and bottles of wine may only be served to 2 or more people.

Despite these pesky little rules, Park City has some of the best bars, clubs and saloons in the entire state and cheerfully serves visitors and locals all year long.

SLOPESIDE - APRES SKI

Both Park City Mountain and Deer Valley Resort offer slopeside and base venues where you can go directly from the runs to refreshments.

For a detailed guide of apres options visit our Après-ski Guide.

Local Insight: Start with a slopeside hot toddy then head to Main Street for some after-hours fun.

MAIN STREET

Many Utahns affectionately refer to Park City as “sin city,” with Main Street being its epicenter. The Town Lift, located at the bottom of Main, makes the transition from the mountain to Old Town seamless. Additionally, the Old Town Transit Center and China Bridge Parking provide easy access for those driving or using the city’s bus system.
