My wife and I have had cataract surgery at Dr. Smith and Dr. Christensen clinic. In addition I have had corrections to my eyes because of injury. They are professional, knowledgeable and caring. They provide the best eye care in the Park City area. Highly recommend that if you need eye care, see Dr. Smith and Dr. Christensen.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Christopher Smith at Mountain Valley Eye Institute in Park City, Utah, for his exceptional care and expertise throughout my recent cataract surgeries. Given my complicated cornea condition, specifically the scaring from a Radial Keratotomy performed in the 1980s, achieving optimal results was considered highly challenging. Dr. Smith’s diligence, commitment and skill in both selecting the best lens for each eye and his surgical skill truly made all the difference. Before moving to Park City my ophthalmologist told me I needed cataract surgery. He referred me to Dr. Smith in Park City. My experience was top notch and I highly recommend him. The office staff was great at scheduling, filing insurance paperwork , and calling in prescriptions. My actual surgery took place at The Eye Institute of Utah in Salt Lake City and I was very happy with the care and skill of the staff there. The surgery for my second eye had a complication (explained to me post-surgery) that Dr. Smith dealt with and it did not affect the successful outcome of my surgery. I’m happy to report that my vision in both eyes is now 20/20 and I no longer need glasses!! When my husband needs cataract surgery he will definately go to Dr. Smith. 😊

Great experience in every aspect. Dr Smith is awesome. Great guy. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Very nice group. The cataract surgeries went smoothly without a glitch and I now see 20/20. I was very nervous about eye surgery but Dr Smith was reassuring and he proved to be right. Overall, the group is top notch and I highly recommend.
