I usually never leave reviews unless I am in awe of the place I went to or if I am disappointed about the experience. This is the 2nd time I have been to prime steakhouse and piano bar and I was disappointed this time. We had a friend in town and we all had extra money so we thought to have a nice steak dinner in beautiful park city. We arrived 20 minutes early for our reservation. The hostess was very friendly and they had our table already ready which was awesome. The last positive was the steaks they really do live up to the hype as I was very impressed by the flavor and tenderness of it. Also the ceaser salad I ordered was great as well. Now the negatives. I just felt the service was very disorganized and for a place that’s charging me 150 dollars for a steak and a couple of sides I was hoping the service would be top tier but instead I felt like I’ve had better service at a busy Texas Roadhouse before. The busboys would come by and ask if they could take our plates and I said yes that would be great but then he walked away without taking them. Then another busboy came and asked if he could take our plates and I said yes that would be great but then he walked away. Then 3 minutes later the original busboy came and took our plates. When they brought out our steaks and other sides they mixed up our steaks so we had to figure out which each steak belonged too. Not the biggest deal but then we realized 3 of us ordered New York steak strips with different cooking temperatures so we had to figure out which one was medium and which one was medium rare a pain. I don’t want anyone to get in trouble but I think more time with your employees is needed. Proper training as I feel if I am spending near 700 dollars for a meal including 20% gratuity the service should be phenomenal and not compared to Texas Roadhouse where I am only spending 100 to 150 to feed all my friends.
A top notch steakhouse with great food, service and a piano bar. We sat in the piano bar and listened to Robin play the piano and sing. She had a wonderful voice and great selection of songs. The lump crab appetizer was extremely fresh and everybody commented on how tasty it was. We ordered Filets that came on 500° plates and were cooked perfectly, the scallop wrapped in bacon exceeded expectations as well as the butterfly chicken main course and green beans almondine. Our server Bryan was attentive yet not overbearing and when we did have conversations with him, it was very pleasurable. Service from all of the staff meets the mark and we would highly recommend this establishment if you want a great dining experience in Park city We had eaten at Butcher’s which is a steakhouse across the street a couple nights before and we’re very disappointed
Pricey comparable to an amazing Chicago or New York steakhouse but taste wise not even close, extremely disappointing. My husband and I are extreme foodies and this was not up to par on a nice steakhouse. We were with another couple who don’t eat out often and they were also disappointed. Ordered the most expensive steak and it had no flavor and was extremely tough to chew, last thing you’d expect from a $100 steak. Luckily we drowned the flavor in the peppercorn sauce which was good. The other couple ordered the same steak and there’s was the same. Thought you can’t go wrong with sides, but we were wrong. The mashed potatoes were more like liquid potato soup that fell off your spoon. Asparagus undercooked and not seasoned, Mac and cheese very bland. The things that we did enjoy though: the waygu beef tartare was one of my favorite I’ve ever had. Drinks were great and service was good as well. To top off the night my sisters toilet blew up at her when someone flushed the toilet next to her and her shirt got soaked. Very Applebee’s behavior (and we love Applebees) but there’s a reason you pay $20 for a steak there. We were kind of in shock at how expensive it was for the taste and we were kicking ourselves when we left that we didn’t send anything back. We walked out with a toilet water scented sister, a hole in our bank accounts, and a longing for an Applebee’s steak.
I walked in not knowing what to expect. I just needed food. From the moment when I walked in, sat at the bar, served was great. I ordered Crab cakes either baked potatoe. They have an amazing selection of wine too, it was amazing. I highly recommend, live music and great service. if you go sit at the bar,
Got the famous 50 day dry aged bone in Ribeye. Would I get it again? No I wouldn’t. It came out on a scorching 500 degree plate that made the steak too hot to eat without burning your mouth. And the steak was lacking that funky dry aged taste I was really looking forward to. After 50 days of dry aging you will see a dark almost burgundy red color in the meat. It’s pretty noticeable but this steak completely lacked it. It resembled the flavor of a basic prime rib
