My dad and I were lucky to have gotten 2 seats at the bar when we walked in with no reservation at 6pm on Saturday. I would highly recommend making a reservation! It is a pretty small place- and very popular. They serve breakfast all day, as well as normal lunch/dinner options. This is a great place to appeal to all kinds of eaters. The bartender who was our waitress was not very attentive and ended up messing up both our orders but she was extremely busy all by herself. My dad and I both went for breakfast entrees and loved them both. It is pretty reasonably priced for a Main Street restaurant. BFD definitely hits after a long day on the slopes. I would definitely come back here (with a reservation).

5/5 Stars – A Cozy Gem on Main Street! We absolutely loved our visit to The Eating Establishment! This spot has such a warm, inviting atmosphere—perfectly cozy and welcoming, whether you're stopping in for a hearty breakfast, casual lunch, or relaxed dinner. The food was delicious and comforting, with generous portions that hit all the right notes, and the drinks were spot-on too (great cocktails to unwind with after a day in Park City!). It's truly a nice local institution that feels like a home away from home in the heart of historic Main Street. The Eating Establishment in Park City is a warm and cozy breakfast spot that instantly feels welcoming. It’s packed with all the comfort food you could ask for, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. I ordered the 2-egg breakfast and it was perfect—eggs cooked exactly right, well-seasoned breakfast potatoes, and perfectly toasted sourdough that tied the whole plate together. A wonderful place to start the day!

I had company in town for a weekend and wanted to go up to Park city for brunch. We looked online and found this restaurant that had high reviews. The reviews were on point. The ambience of the restaurant nice and had a homey feeling. It was a bit cold outside and we were seated at a table next to the fireplace, which was really nice. I got one pancake and huevos rancheros. And both were so delicious! But the huevos rancheros were extra good! Very flavorful and very fresh tasting. I couldn’t stop eating even though I was totally full. And had to have some bites of the pancake as well. The service was good, even though the place was busy. And the prices were very reasonable. We found parking fairly quick on the street as we went a bit early on Saturday morning. By the time we got out the parking situation was crazy. So definitely try to get there earlier in the morning on a Saturday or Sunday.

This is a must-stop place whenever my partner and I are in Park City. Every time we have had a wonderful experience. The food is excellent - we've had a chance to try almost everything on the menu and never regretted a single thing we've ordered, though we are partial to the breakfast menu. A few years ago, we had the delightful luck of being seated for dinner in the bar room at a table near a couple who was proposing; and just last week, the hostess promised us a "very romantic table outdoors," and true to her word, we were downright spoiled with our very own private patio table just for two. I love this place. We will keep coming back again and again.
