WOW!!! Fine dining at it's best. Group of six celebrating a birthday. Started with the Classic Shareable...salmon pancakes were wonderful, lobster bisque, pierogies, and Sea Shareable. Entrees: Alaskan Halibut, Sesame Ahi Tuna, 1855 Farms Filet, bacon wrapped shrimp and wedge salad! All amazing. Oh, and they had live music! They met and exceeded our expectations!
Food was solid. Treats sent by chef were a nice touch. Reminded me of restaurants in Europe. The Trio of Wild Game was probably the main draw here. It was composed of Bison, Venison and Elk. Served medium rare and served on top of huckleberry (wow). Very impressed as it was not game-y and was pretty tender. Ambiance was on point with a live singer/guitarist which hit multiple genres. Highly recommend.
Riverhorse on Main absolutely delivered one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Park City. From the moment we sat down, everything felt elevated—clean, upscale atmosphere with a relaxed but polished vibe. The presentation across the board was top-tier, starting with the small bites and bread service. The focaccia was soft, airy, and flavorful, paired with a smooth spread that set the tone immediately. We started with the bacon-wrapped shrimp and the buffalo tartare, and both were outstanding. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and wrapped in crispy, savory bacon with just the right balance of richness. The buffalo tartare was a standout—fresh, bold, and elevated with the bone marrow and toast, creating a rich, unforgettable bite that really showcased the kitchen’s skill. The cocktail (a Paloma-style drink) was excellent—refreshing, citrus-forward, and beautifully presented with the black salt rim and dehydrated lime. Easily one of the better cocktails I’ve had in a while. For the main course, the salmon was exceptional. The sear was spot on with a crisp exterior and tender, flaky inside. The sauce and sides complemented it perfectly without overpowering the fish. Every element on the plate felt intentional and well thought out. The rest of the table went with the trout and halibut, and both were just as impressive. The trout was light, fresh, and cooked perfectly with great flavor throughout, while the halibut was buttery and tender with a beautiful balance of textures and sauce. You could tell the kitchen knows exactly how to handle seafood—nothing overdone, everything dialed in. Service matched the food—attentive, professional, and never overbearing. You can tell this place takes pride in both the kitchen and the front of house. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but this is one of those places where you genuinely feel like you’re getting what you pay for. If you’re in Park City and want a high-end dinner that actually lives up to the hype, Riverhorse is absolutely worth it.
Reservation is a must! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. We followed the server’s recommendations and tried some cocktails, absolutely impressive! The steak was expertly cooked, tender with no blood, while the tuna was just okay. I highly recommend the curry cauliflower, and the complimentary focaccia appetizer was also delicious. Overall, the dining atmosphere really elevated the meal, and being seated by the window was a nice bonus.
We walked in on Valentine’s Day and they were able to accommodate us, without a reservation at the bar; immediate bonus points. The chefs sampler and an app was more than enough for 3 people! The sampler platter was super tasty; special shout out to the smoked salmon with cheese over a crispy hash. The portion of salmon was incredibly generous, and incredibly fresh; it paired incredibly well with the crunch of the potato hash. The buffalo tartare was robust and flavorful, a nice helping of meat with some perfectly crispy bread! The bone marrow was large and incredibly decadent! We finished off with the lava cake and some port wine; this was an out of body experience. It was incredibly tasty, decadent, chocolatey and delicious! This is a must stop spot for a great meal in Park City!
