Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience. It started with the front host, who couldn’t answer a simple question about the specials that were posted on the wall behind him. Throughout the meal, service continued to be lacking. Our waitress didn’t return to refill our water until we had to ask twice. When our order arrived, one of our sushi rolls had been forgotten. The sashimi did not taste fresh, the sushi rolls themselves were just okay and certainly not worth the nearly $20 price tag, and the tonkotsu ramen had almost no flavor. Even after adding the Korean beef, the meat was dry, chewy, and didn’t improve the dish. We politely expressed our disappointment to our waitress. The chef was unwilling to comp any portion of the meal and instead offered us dessert. While we appreciated the gesture, it didn’t make sense to us—we hadn’t enjoyed the meal itself, so complimentary dessert wasn’t an appropriate solution. Between the poor service, disappointing food quality, and lack of a meaningful resolution, this wasn’t an experience we’d choose to repeat. The meal was not worth $95.
One of the worst Ramen I’ve had. Noodles overcooked, soup lukewarm & bland, bok & bean sprouts seemed raw (should be blanched). Chashu was the only component that was fine. Now with the sushi as we watched both sushi chefs stuffing their face with the same gloved hands they made our chirashi bowl with. The rice seemed very old and not definitely not quality rice. It was very expensive and they couldn’t put maguro on it. Service was very minimum. Just watched the servers just talk to each other the entire time.
Super cute interior with a cozy, inviting vibe that makes it a nice place to sit and relax. The menu had a good variety and the food was good. While nothing really stood out as exceptional, everything we tried was solid. Service was friendly, but a little slow. The atmosphere was definitely a highlight. A great spot if you’re looking for good sushi in a charming setting.
The employees were so nice and respectful. However, the sushi was the total opposite. I got the surf'n'turf which was okay, not the best considering the price. The uni here was salty, and fishy. Good quality uni is sweet and doesn't have that fishy taste. The sashimi even just the salmon was not up to par considering the price.
What a breath of fresh air. This venue is top notch in atmosphere and service. The sushi is wonderful. Fresh and bold, popping with fantastic flavor. The hot sauces pack a huge kick if you are into pleasing your palatte with a punch. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
