Park City bakeries and pastry shops are some of the best in Utahunsplash

If you’re looking for a piping hot cinnamon roll, a moist slice of chocolate cake, or a hearty bran muffin, many Parkites say that our community bakeries and pastry shops are among the very best in Utah.

Here are some of the most popular, as suggested by locals:

Traditional Bakeries

Auntie Em’s

1351 Kearns Blvd #150

Since starting her bakery business ten years ago, Emily Burney’s baked goods have been the talk of the town. Everything is baked fresh with “wholesome, natural ingredients that are locally sourced whenever possible.” Her menu includes cinnamon rolls, banana bread, scones and cookies. But by far, the pièce de résistance of Auntie Em’s are the pies. You can choose between sweet or savory, by the slice or the whole pie.

Windy Ridge Bakery

1755A Bonanza Drive

This bakery is always on the “best of” local lists. Their talented staff create quiches, lasagnas, pies, tarts, and unique daily specials. Wind Ridge also specializes in custom cake orders. If you are looking to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, promotion, etc. they cater to a wide range of tastes and preferences. Additionally, you can custom order a number of other bakery items.

The Bake Shop

1154 Center Dr D200

At The Bake Shop in Kimball Junction, you will find an artisanal menu divided into Dough & Sweets, Grab 'n' Go, and Coffee & Such. Their bread selection includes baguettes, brioche and focaccia. Plus, they offer quintessentials like English muffins, danishes and chocolate chip cookies. The Grab ‘n’ Go section features breakfast sandwiches and Miss Katie’s Egg Casserole —a savory egg pudding with sausage, bread, and peppers.

Specialty Shops

Chomp Donuts & Coffee

1612 W Ute Blvd, Suite 118

As the name suggests, Chomp is all about donuts. The shop opened in November of 2025 and has become somewhat of an obsession for Parkites. The donuts are crafted in small batches throughout the day, to guarantee freshness, and you can choose between yeast raised, filled, old fashioned, cake and fritters.

Red Bicycle Breadworks

1500 Snow Creek Drive, inside The Market

Known around Park City as “Crack Bread, these hand crafted artisan loaves have to be tasted to be believed. Red Bicycle’s addictive recipe includes “organic flour milled in Northern Utah, salt mined from an ancient seabed in Central Utah, and natural leavenings.”
