Yes, many of the popular pizza chains can be found in Park City, including Domino’s, Pizza Hut, and Papa Murphy’s. What may be less expected is the number of local eateries that serve delicious, hand-tossed creations.

Kimball Junction

Maxwell's

1456 Newpark Blvd

Originally from New Jersey, owner Steve Maxwell serves up an East Coast-inspired thin-crust pizza. Patrons can choose from specialty pies like the Godfather—Mozzarella, provolone, ricotta, goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes , My Blue Heaven—Buffalo sauce, chicken, crumbled blue cheese and their signature pie the Fat Boy—Pepperoni, spinach, ricotta. You can also “build your own” pizza and put on whatever toppings you want.

Big Daddy's Pizza

1612 W Ute Blvd Ste 111

If you have teenagers in the house or are hosting the Sunday big-game, Big Daddy’s 26’ pizza has you covered. This monster of a pie serves up to 10 adults, particularly if it's complemented with their parmesan bites, wings or garlic bread. The family-owned pizzeria also offers a 12” cheese or pepperoni pick-up special and Park City Family Deal.

Park City Proper/Prospector

Matilda

1600 Snow Creek Dr, Ste BCD

Although this neighborhood pizzeria has only been open since spring of 2005, many Parkites say that Matilda has some of the best pizza in Park City. Their specialty pies have been described as “scratch-made sourdough pizza with class." Try one or all of their selections that includes a marinara | tomato sauce, confit garlic, oregano creation, a caramelized onion | cream sauce, fontina, chili crisp with sesame, and vodka pepp | vodka sauce, cup & char pepperoni, mozz, pecorino and ranch drizzle.

Este Pizza Park City

1781 Sidewinder Dr, Ste 1

Serving New York Style pizza, many reviewers praise Este’s crust, noting that the dough has a good chew, solid char, and an authentic sauce-to-cheese balance. The eatery serves many creative pizzas including the New Jersey Combo with Pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, yellow onion & black olive  and The Green 4 with Spinach, tomato, red onion & garlic. They also provide gluten-free options.

Old Town

Davanza's

690 Park Ave

Davanza’s is a beloved, no-frills staple that has been around practically forever (since 1979.) Locals consistently praise their pizza for having a thin, crispy, "cracker-style" crust with a good crunch. Regulars love that you can buy large individual slices (such as cheese or pepperoni) rather than committing to a whole pie. They also offer lunch specials that pair slices with fries or a salad, and a drink.

Red Banjo Pizza

322 Main Street

Another Park City institution is Red Banjo. As the oldest restaurant in the town, this pizza joint has been serving locals and visitors for 63 years. Customers praise their fresh-made, chewy crust, and specialty pizzas like the Banjo Special and the Silver King amongst the most popular in town. A favorite tip, started by Red Banjo, is squeezing a fresh slice of lemon over the pizza.

Deer Valley

Cena Ristorante and Lounge

7815 Royal Street, located inside The Chateaux Deer Valley

Cena’s receives praise for its wood-fired, flatbread style individual pizzettas. They offer rotating and classic toppings such as Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Winter Margherita, Roasted Beets, Braised Chicken, and Butternut Squash. Their pesto pizza is a particular favorite.

Other Local Favorites

Fuego Bistro and Pizzeria, Loma and Versante Hearth + Bar.
